We were approached by BBC sport to feature on their Marathon Stories a few weeks ago. Didn’t know if they would use our story so 🤫. Mr Ray is on the road to recovery .Its been a week since his hip replacement operation and he is up and moving around can manage to walk down the stairs unaided.
I did ask if he is doing Parkrun on Saturday and he just gave me that are you mad look 😂😂😂😂😂 by @blackcouplesdorun

Lorraine has taken the decision to defer her London Marathon 2026 place. I am due to have an operation that was supposed to happen in Oct 2025 cancelled by NHS to Feb 2026 cancelled again by NHS to April 2026 now cancelled again no new date . While I have done some training the operation has been on my mind so not really been focused on doing LM physical and mentally.
So deferred my LM place to 2027 which will be my 60th year on this earth and my LM year. We will both be volunteering at Blue zone Info tent Blackheath on LM day pop by and say hello if you can . We will then be at Rundem crew mile cheer zone . ❤️ by @blackcouplesdorun

Great morning celebrating Barbados and @besmartgetfit who ran 100km across Barbados in Jan 2026 raising money for cancer research . We started at Barbados High commission nice social 5k run to @eatbarbs for a Barbados brunch . Good run good people good vibes 🇧🇧😍😃 by @blackcouplesdorun
