Black('s) History.

I been in a silent but vigorous battle with depression for at least the better part of this year. When the war started getting too arduous I had to take a step back- Hence my mild absence from this app.

Ive flaked on friends, responsibilities and just straight up obligations just because i couldn't figure out how to pull myself out of my head. I would get on stage and give everything i had and look back and see just how much i was lacking. Second guessing and doubting myself at every corner available but still pushing through. I lost close to 8 years of my life When my hard drive crashed, too busy livin in the fast lane to back that shit up. Shit even my diet was in shambles.

But after taking a step back, after hearing some empowering words from light sources I've encountered along this journey- Im feeling ready to allow some new energy into my life. Ready to lean into my purpose, my power and use it to live the life supports me.

new everything on the way.

I love you ❤️‍🔥 by @blackerthanwatr

Iight so bet

I had been building with my brother @old_orleans just puttin vibes together for a lil minute by now. During some of the times we hung out shared stories, areas of awareness, spoke about our journeys as individuals and how connecting just more than made sense - i took the liberty to ask about @tito.g_ and how i needed to tap in with bro. He then tells me that Tito was also inquiring the same about me. Im like say less, imma reach out rn.

So connect we did, and that labor beared this nourishing fruit that we packaged as "Rise of The Getsu"

We can get into those specifics as we go. But heres a taste for your soul.

When yall think we should drop this though ?

I wrapped up the art for @blackerthanwatr’s new album. This project might be making its way into the world sooner rather than later. We’ll be teasing along the way! by @blackerthanwatr

@blackerthanwatr has given me reason to lean all the way into my love of Japanese prints and calligraphy. The art, calligraphy and color studies are complete. Tonight I shift to wrapping up the design. I look forward to when we can share this album with you. by @blackerthanwatr
