POSTS STORIES REELS

Hello my friends — this a huge personal announcement and lifelong dream come true — I wrote an original score to a movie!!! It’s a retro synth score for an incredibly fun retro splatter horror movie (shot entirely on film with glorious old school practical FX). The movie is called “Night of the Vamp-Friars” and is directed by the talented @kurtisspieler (of the cult classic “New York Ninja” fame) and produced by the legendary @vinegarsyndrome !!! It’s already been getting coverage from @fangoria @bdisgusting etc… and is hitting film festivals this summer!!! Don’t worry, we will be putting together a soundtrack release for this and a ton of other fun things. Also, I can’t believe I have an IMDb page now — my inner film nerd is screaming. I’m glad Wolfman got a feature haha. Scroll through to see the poster and hop over to Vinegar Syndrome for the trailer. 💀 by @blackfreighter

I can’t tell you how thankful I was to make music with my friends this weekend. 📸 by the talented @gabethepigeon by @blackfreighter

The END show with Misery Signals on Thursday was incredible. Here are a few clips from our set — it felt great to be able to play together again. @yourfuckingend by @blackfreighter

Thank you everyone who came out to our first show the other week! It was so much better than we ever could have anticipated. It felt great to play these songs to a packed room. Eternally grateful. 📸 by @christeti by @blackfreighter

VESTIGE OF MERCY is out October 16th.
Exclusive records, merch, and bundle packages are available at the link in our bio. by @blackfreighter

THANK YOU everyone for the birthday wishes!!! This has been an incredible year for me. I launched two new bands (Black Mask album out Friday, Apology first show Sunday), got to produce and release a ton of awesome records, wrote a synth score to a super fun horror movie, wrote a bunch of music for ESPN to use during their broadcasts, got to tour with some dear friends, made new music for my bands to be announced soon, traveled a lot with pals and so many other adventures. This year was not without its loss of multiple friends though — which I feel deeply — but all I can say about that is that I’m thankful for all of us who are still around. Take nothing for granted. Genuinely thankful for each and every one of you. 🖤🐺 by @blackfreighter

My friends — I have a new shoegaze // alternative band that’s been coming together for over a year now. For fans of Cave In, My Bloody Valentine, Failure, Quicksand, Basement etc… Rather than the normal roll out of singles and videos, we wanted to start playing shows to lock the band together organically while we put the final touches on our record. I can’t wait for you guys to hear this. We are Apology. Join us for our first show ever this weekend. by @blackfreighter

Absolutely surreal day for me. The film that I scored - “Night of the Vamp-Friars” - got a full physical media release. 4k disc, deluxe VHS, pins, screen printed movie poster, shirts etc… it’s wild. Shot entirely on 16mm film with classic practical effects and my retro 80’s synthwave score - this is a dream come true. Head over to vinegarsyndrome.com to grab a copy! by @blackfreighter

Our new single “Tormented” is out now. An old song with fresh teeth from our upcoming album “Vestige of Mercy” being released via Static Era records on October 16th. Link in bio for the full video and pre order. by @blackfreighter

Today we spent time with our good friends @blackfreighter, @christeti and @wienerherzog. It started as a welcome visit from our @dunable_guitars rep for some product knowledge. It pivoted to us chopping up the current state of the music industry, gear and life in general. It could’ve been captured and regurgitated as a great podcast episode but instead we stayed present and living in the moment. That is the beauty behind our showroom. A place to gather, learn, and grow as a community. Til, next time dudes 🧟🧛🕷️👹🦇
