I wanted to take some time to share that I have now completed my 10-week Arts & Business Management Internship at your @ncsymphony ! This internship was made possible through the exceptional programming at @nc.dncr and @nc.doa

This has been such an amazing period of growth and practice. I've logged about 400 hours of work to drive the mission of the NC Symphony. I've processed invoices, developed fundraising tactics, and judged creative picnics! This experience provided a pretty holistic view of what it takes to run a large music nonprofit.

Kingsville (Win)ds Summer 2027

I look forward to coming back to Kingsville every summer to host our festival. We had three concerts this year, 110 participants, and unlimited hangs and memories.

I'm excited to announce that my piece, Skylines, will be premiered by the @raleighsymphonyorchestra ! Concerts are tonight, May 1st at 7pm and tomorrow, May 2nd at 7pm in Jones Auditorium at Meredith College!

This past semester, I had the privilege to travel to the CBDNA Conference in Fort Worth, TX as a member of the UNCG Wind Ensemble! It was an honor to perform on tour across 5 states, culminating in gracing the grand stage at TCU. I had an amazing time spending time with my section and the members of the ensemble, and wouldn't trade this experience for the world. taken in Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU by @blackgate.music

This summer, I spent ten days at the Newfound Chamber Winds' Chamber Music Festival with some of the most talented music professionals I've ever met. I am especially grateful for the premiere of my piece, still waters, for reed quintet - which was phenomenally performed by Dr Ellard and the chamber music fellows.

Special thanks to Drs David Biedenbender and Viet Cuong for being amazing mentors, and to the members of the Tidewater Composition Studio for being so welcoming. I'd also like to thank Dr Tyler Austin for hosting the festival, along with the rest of the amazing faculty.
