So some bloke called Pete Tong played my latest track on @bbcradio1 on Friday 🤯 for the Club Heat Mix..

I’ll be honest, this is the kind of moment I’ve dreamt of since being 16 (A very long time ago basically) as in.. ‘I wonder what it will be like if pete tong played my track on Radio 1?’ ..So this was a biggy for me. Very greatful indeed to all involved and @sidneycharles for the remix also @victoriaekanoye @louisosbourne @jaybert87 @amritwhitehead

This is a lesson in perseverance (I’m 47 now) 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🖤🖤🖤🪩🪩🪩✨✨✨✨✨

Also, this is @hot_creations 200th release which an honour all of its own!!

Track is climbing up the house charts now at 25 on @beatport 😱😱😱❤️❤️🙏🏼 come on let’s do this, can we ❤️ reach top 10??? Manifest, manifest.. 😂

Click the link in the bio and buy and download from #beatport please!

1992. Car park at Bowlers, Trafford Park. ✌️
This is the first photo I have from that era. We hardly took any back then, and cameras weren’t allowed in clubs anyway. Lucky my mate Jonny had one stashed in his Fiat Panda.
We’d been clubbing since 1990 and had already graduated to the Haçienda and Back to Basics in Leeds, so Bowlers wasn’t really our thing. A bit too ravey by then. But that night @Rob_tissera played an absolute blinder. He dropped Another Sleepless Night by Mike “Hitman” Wilson ft. Shawn Christopher into Technoage. It was a moment.
Standing in that car park, I had no idea I’d one day be DJing in Ibiza and across the UK, let alone alongside Rob himself. Back then I wasn’t even sure it was possible. It felt like something reserved for the likes of Sasha.
But I was determined to give it a go. Not taking no for an answer.
This is part 1 of my story. Every Thursday I’ll go from these early nights right through to Ibiza and making records as Black Hawks Of Panama.
Who was at Bowlers back in the day? 👇

🌴 We go dancing Saturday 17th October for the final daytime affair at WAV this year.
This one completely sold out back in July, but we have just activated the resale tickets for a limited time, maybe go take a look before they all go... 👀

Played the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Awards @Unvrsibiza the other night ✊🇪🇸🤠

Tucked away in the Secret Club deep inside, so no pics, you’ll have to take my word for it 🖤 Bespoke soundsystem that looked like a giant hi‑fi but hit like a heavyweight 🥊🔊 Chesterfield sofas, bougie vibes, deep rhythms and grooves all night.

Big love to @samantha_s_a_m for sharing the booth always amazing vibes, and huge thanks to the @unvrs team, amazing staff all round. Thanks for having me 🙏🦅
