As this chapter comes to a close, many have been asking, “What’s next?” I’m a civil engineer, and I work alongside my mum in real estate. I’m excited about the beautiful things ahead and the opportunities to grow beyond the pageant stage.

Miss Global has given me beautiful memories, valuable lessons, and friendships across different countries. I leave with a piece of my heart scattered around the world, and for that, I am grateful. @missglobalofficial

To my fellow Nigerians, pageantry is about more than winning; I invested so much of myself, my time, my resources, and my heart into this experience. I did not come this far intending to give anything less than my best. I am human, and I know there are things I could have done differently. I will reflect on them, learn from them, and take those lessons with me. That, to me, is also part of what it means to compete.

It is easy to form an opinion from the outside. It takes a little more understanding to consider what someone may have poured into a dream before judging how their journey ended. I welcome constructive criticism; it is part of growth. I only hope we learn to offer it with the same humanity we would want for ourselves.

To my organization, @officialmissglobalnigeria thank you for trusting me with the privilege of representing Nigeria internationally. It is an opportunity I will always be proud of, and one I do not take lightly.

Miss Global Nigeria, Aisha Abubakar, paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Governor alongside Miss Universe 2023, Miss Earth, Miss Earth Water and other remarkable queens.

The meeting centered on the recently concluded E1 Event, sustainability initiatives, and the role of beauty ambassadors in driving global change.

Special appreciation to @rikaotobyme for hosting this remarkable event and to @afreximbankofficial and of course the Lagos State Government (@lagosstategovt) by @blackmelaniin
