The Prince Return To The Mountain Trails! He didn’t just come back… He Rose & Took Off! 😭😭🙏🏾🙌🏾💪🏾✊🏾💯

Today meant everything. Watching my son fight his way back from something that would shake anyone from the inside out… It shook him; but it never broke his spirit. He stayed focused on one thing: the day he’d return. “And today was that day.”

We hit the trail near 10,000 feet, and not even 300 feet in, I told him to take it easy. But once he felt that mountain air and touched that Rocky terrain he loves… that fire showed up. ✨ And he took off ✨🥹🥹🥹👆🏾👆🏾

I was pushing, giving it everything I had; and he still left me behind. That’s when I knew… this was bigger than a run. This was everything he’s been carrying, everything he fought through, finally breaking free.

The struggle wasn’t the story. The decision to fight back was. All Praise to the Most High. Proud Dad; Forever Proud. 🙏🏾 “The Dream Team Forever” 💜

😮‍💨 Thought it was a light tune-up…then the Decatur hills hit. 😖😂

July humidity had everybody (well, had me) humbled by mile two. 😩

Still, 2,000 deep and nobody backed down. Shout out to @atlantatrackclub for these awesome, FREE member races throughout the year!
