Well, I suppose it’s official… Black Pear Forge has its own page. 🍐🔪

It all started back in 2020 after watching far too much Forged in Fire and thinking, “I fancy having a go at that.” 😂

What started as a hobby, making knives for myself, friends and family, has somehow grown into people actually asking me to make knives for them.

Everything here is handmade by me, and I like every knife to have its own character. I’m still learning, still improving and still occasionally swearing at bits of steel along the way. 😂

First time making a full serrated bread knife for a friend, now content she can happily slice bread 😂. Went very well and more than happy to make another. by @blackpearforge

I was asked to make an athame. It’s like a wand for a white which. First time doing a double edged blade. I learnt a lot from this one by @blackpearforge

Made for a friend again. Made from a Damascus billet purchased online. First time time doing teeth on the spine. Came out really nice. Was worried about the belly in the handle. Oh my god tho this knife was so way to index. Blade up or blade down you knew exactly where the cutting edge was. by @blackpearforge

I do enjoy making these blacksmith knives smith knives. Simple but elegant at the same time being made from 01 tool steel. Holds a great edge for cutting up his bolting. by @blackpearforge
