Lifetime Moment - I got to return to this majestic high mountain (9999ft) basin a few days ago, the spot where we spread my parents ashes in 2019, after they both passed away in 2017, to break out the acoustic guitar and strum along to “Nutshell”. I’ve been wanting to do this for years! Quite a moment

I particularly like this City in Colour (Dallas Green) version for these slides.

When I first saw this spot and we selected it as where we would spread their ashes, it struck me as being a Cathedral…the perfect place.

We grew up down the road a ways in Durango, Colorado and my parents brought us up to these mountains every summer. What are blessing to have in our youth.

I kinda liked it better when I lived seeing everyone through a fictional, best potential rose colored veil. When that veil came crashing down every cell in my body went into shock for months. I had been living raw and open and authentic…while they were living strategic.
