CLYMOVE X RAMBÜS: A New Creative Frequency 🔥🎧

Something electric is brewing in the studio.

Artistic Director Clymene Aldinger continues her boundary-pushing collaboration with producer, DJ, and sonic architect Nigel John (RAMBÜS)—a partnership that fuses contemporary dance with an immersive electronic soundscape. Together, they are building a bold interdisciplinary language where movement and music evolve side by side.

RAMBÜS’s textured, pulse-driven compositions meet Aldinger’s emotionally charged choreography to create an experience that is both visceral and cinematic—music that doesn’t just accompany the dance, but breathes with it.

This ongoing collaboration will be featured in CLYMOVE’s upcoming premiere during the company’s 6th Anniversary Season at New York Live Arts (April 9–11, 2026) @nylivearts. Audiences will experience a powerful new work where sound and movement collide—an exploration of rhythm, rebellion, and the electric space between bodies and beats.

CLYMOVE X RAMBÜS is more than a collaboration—it’s a creative dialogue, a shared pulse, and the beginning of a new sonic era for the company.

CLYMOVE X RAMBÜS

An electrifying collaboration between choreographer Clymene Aldinger’s CLYMOVE Dance (NY, NY) and the experimental soundscapes of DJ KURT RAMBÜS (Orlando, FL). This performance explores the tension and harmony between movement and sound — where rhythm drives emotion and gesture gives shape to music.

A visceral meeting of body and beat, CLYMOVE X RAMBÜS creates an immersive world where collaboration becomes transformation. This live experience blurs the boundaries between dance and concert, drawing audiences into a kinetic dialogue that pulses with vulnerability, power, and connection.

Bringing together two boundary-pushing forces — CLYMOVE Dance, known for its raw physical storytelling, and DJ KURT RAMBÜS, acclaimed for daring sonic landscapes — the result is an arresting hybrid where dancers and DJ share the spotlight in a charged exploration of energy, rhythm, and human resonance.

A true Orlando original, BLACKSUEDE RADIO has spent decades digging deeper and connecting sounds across funk, soul, disco, hip-hop, jazz, electronic music and beyond.

His roots in Orlando’s underground music scene go back to the ’90s, and in 2016, @orlandoweekly readers named him Best DJ in Orlando.

A serious record collector with a love for the unexpected, Nigel has never been about staying inside one genre. Through @blacksuede66 it’s always been about discovery, great records and following wherever the music takes you.

And we’re so excited to have him with us for FREESCO! 🪩
