🇯🇲One of the hardest things during this mission trip was distributing the donations of canned meats, milk, products, oil, and an assortment of hygiene products to grateful hearts and smiling faces while watching them walk back to portions of what used to be their home. Veda is a Great-grandmother who encouraged me to capture the reality of the circumstances.

I am grateful to have worked earnestly alongside amazing individuals @daringwalk @rorymitchellja , Chantal, Oshane, Moyeisha, Odane, and Jack as they used their vehicles, time, money, and energy to mobilize this venture.

I am also grateful for my friends in various states that were touched by the tragedy of hurricane Melissa and extended their hard earned money to add to the items that several families received. This reminds me that Humanity still lingers in many hearts.

However, I can hardly call the resources we shared “ recovery/relief packages” . There is no greater relief than stable shelter which is disheartening to witness. I pray to God for all of those who have been affected by hurricane Melissa because there is so much more work to be done.

Also, shout out to Peter Tosh’s son who selflessly guided us to our main distribution area and advocated for the people of Belmont, Westmoreland, where things were in dire condition.

Thanking God for safe travels to and from my beautiful island of Jamaica and blessing me with a productive trip. taken in Belmont, Westmoreland, Jamaica by @blacktastic876

My favorite RN and CNA Duo🩺❤️Happy Mother’s Day and perfect end to Nurses week! Countless CNA’s and women with humble careers have earnestly funded the path for many nurses, doctors, lawyers, and engineers because they had to place the vision of our future over their own aspirations. I was raised by one and proud of her. Surprising her with this photoshoot was truly a heart warming milestone in our relationship🥹 Many mothers have nurtured me through out the years and I’m eternally grateful . May God bless all of MY BONUS MOTHERS and God bless my MUMMY💕
