NBA Foundation — Founders Lounge Recap 🏀🔥

History was made at COSM in Inglewood. The inaugural NBA Foundation Founders Lounge brought together founders, investors, business leaders, and NBA stakeholders for an unforgettable evening ahead of the All-Star Pitch Competition Finals.

The energy in the room was undeniable — a curated community of builders, capital partners, and changemakers all aligned around one mission: empowering Black entrepreneurship.

Panel highlights that hit different:
🎯 “The work is done before you hit the stage. Show up confident, passionate, and free.”
🎯 Make the audience feel why your solution MUST exist — don’t leave that stage without it.
🎯 Energy is contagious. When you pitch with passion, people don’t just listen — they want IN.

Shoutout to the seven entrepreneurs gearing up for the $200K All-Star Pitch Competition and the incredible partner ecosystem making it all possible — NBA Foundation, Amplitude, Comcast NBCUniversal, KKR Westbound Equity, Connect Ventures, Teamworks, and Radix.

From pitch prep to real estate plays, barbershop business strategy to Africa expansion — the conversations in this room were just as powerful as what happened on stage.

This is what community-driven entrepreneurship looks like. First Founders Lounge. Won’t be the last. 🤝
