POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi, I’m Meredith -
Wife, mom, and the grower behind Black & White Gardens. 🖤🤍🌱

A little over a year ago, our family moved to give our flower farm dream the space it needed to grow.

Now, with one season under our belts, we’re so hopeful for what’s to come: our 120-plant peony field, an 18-bed kitchen garden, and the greenhouse.

We can’t wait to share our flowers with you!

A year ago this was a plan on paper 🫶🏼
It’s wild to see it at sunrise, all the growth - in the beds, the greenhouse, the season’s worth of blooms, but also in us - every lesson, every debate, every encouragement and partnership!
I’m grateful for a morning to show us how far it’s all come 🖤🤍🌱

Worth every ache 🖤🤍🌱

Flowers are a labor of love but I’ve found I’d choose this work every single time. The early mornings, the sore back, the constant weather watch, the lists, etc. It all leads to this fall bouquet 🖤🤍🌱

The song says it perfectly; I’m not letting these baby year peonies go to rot bc of weeks of rain! So I’m chopping for the season but also amending and adding even more good airy soil!
🖤🤍🌱
Supposed to be a break in the rain… was not. Did it anyway.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that I’m allowed to be learning, growing, and having fun too 🫶🏼
🖤🤍🌱
I’m so grateful I found this passion, even in the busy season of day jobs and kiddo activities!
🖤🤍🌱
Literally growing myself while I’m growing food and flowers!

We showed up to an untouched space with a lot of “we’ll see.” No greenhouse. No beds. Just dirt and a dream. Actually; we had to add the dirt too 🤪

365 days later — look how we’ve grown
🖤🤍🌱

Here’s to year two
