Throwback to BWC26 The Convention Days! To everyone who travelled from near and far, tattooed, exhibited, performed, volunteered, supported, or simply came to experience it all - thank you. You are what makes Blackwork Convention what it is. While we’re reminiscing, we’re also already looking ahead. Blackwork 2027 is well underway, and this time we have even more hands on deck. More people, new ideas, and new energy are coming together behind the scenes to create something even stronger while staying true to what Blackwork has always been about. Blackwork Convention 2026 - The Gathering Days First of all, a colossal shoutout to @royalbeerdk , @anarkistbrewing , and @fernetbrancadanmark for sponsoring one hell of a boat party. You helped us push this gathering to new heights, and for that, we are more than grateful. A little over a month ago, we closed the doors, chained the coffin shut, and laid Blackwork Convention 2026 to rest - only so it can rise again for next year’s obliteration. Yet the memories still leave us with a shit-eating grin on our faces. It has been an absolute pleasure opening the doors to our little dungeon and watching it fill with good people, old friends, and new faces from all corners of the scene. A MASSIVE thank you also goes to Quest Master @lordgordith and Rotten Orc @ardengufffff for making our very first in-house concert a reality. We might be biased, but the intimacy, atmosphere, and full on talent made it one of the best shows we’ve ever witnessed…. The neighbors might disagree though…. Thank you, Lord Gordith and Rotten Orc, for bringing the music, the energy, and the good vibes. You’ll always have a place here in Copenhagen… but bring your Magic decks next time. Until we gather again - stay tuned for “The Convention Days” video ! See you next year for The Gathering Days. On April 22nd, from 16:00 – 22:00, we open the doors to something a little different… Blackwork Bazaar takes over our beloved Dungeon Bar at @graventattoo & @tavernoflostsouls , transforming the space into a Bazaar of oddities and curiosities. Wander through a selection of original paintings from our tattooers, handcrafted nick knacks, and a vinyl sale for those hunting new sounds. We’ll be running flash tattoos all day, so you can get marked on the spot. We’re also hosting an upcycling station by Icescreen Printing - bring your old rags, worn garments, or forgotten pieces and give them new life. Bring your old rags and give them new life with the @icescreenprinting upcycling station at the Blackwork Bazaar Wednesday 22nd of April in @graventattoo , and at the convention floor the 24th and 25th at Onkel Danny’s Plads ! Ice Screen Printing is a Copenhagen-based screen printing studio, active since 2014, working hands-on with textiles and prints using traditional techniques. They’re known for printing directly onto garments and giving new life to old clothes - turning worn pieces into something worth keeping. Through print events and collaborations, they’ve been part of pushing a more creative and circular approach to clothing, where nothing needs to be thrown away if it can be reworked.
