aloha lovers! in the new year of 2026, i am trying to step out of comfort zone and get into hand building. this is a coil case using cone 5 azabache black. i haven’t made a coil pot since freshmen year of high school but i thought id try it. atm im trying to burnish it w a labradorite stone. i’ll keep ya updated 😂🤙🏼

cutie sponge holder is ready to use for the kitchen or crafts! it was lost in bisque jail for a few months but the kiln gods surprised me and there it was on the shelf ready to be glazed! it is self draining and comes with a spout. a collection of these with handles will be available on my etsy in August :)

the previous post aged poorly lol this is my first official flop of the year 🥲 i’ll bring myself to make another one in a few months…maybe by @blade_ceramics

i never really hand build and am feeling hopeful about this one. the underglaze did not come out as i had hoped so i’m glazing again. the finished project should be coming out of the kiln shortly 🤞🏼 by @blade_ceramics

trimming a small bowl in real time
