Lo scorso 30 gennaio, presso il Palazzo della Cultura di Catania, ha inaugurato la mostra NEW YORK 80.L’esposizione museale celebra il movimento culturale che ha rivoluzionato l’arte, la musica e la moda dell’intero pianeta attraverso i suoi più importanti interpreti, che con la loro azione di denuncia sociale colorata ed esplosiva hanno incarnato in modo autentico il sogno americano.Siamo lieti di aver collaborato con i curatori Giuseppe Stagnitta e Marco Mantovani, contribuendo come galleria al prestito di alcune opere storiche.Tra gli artisti in mostra figurano Bill Blast, Blade, Crash, Daze, Kool Koor, Quik e Sonic, maestri con i quali collaboriamo con continuità e reciproca stima.#ArenaStudioDArte #GraffitiArt #StreetArt #artecontemporanea #streetartcatania by @bladekingofgraf

The design is as personal as can be: while the shot of the classic 1970s panel was taken by BLADE himself, he later realized the house where he was born is in the background — a lucky coincidence, the color is named after his late wife, Portia Ogburn, making it a testament to the love for his family and his passion after decades in the game. Current exhibition WELCOME TO THE DREAMHOUSE at Groninger Museum. @groningermuseumofficial. They’re showing my very first painting on canvas (it’s in their collection) in a most unusual -but COOL - way. The curators looted both the depot and thrift stores to make a home interior where art and not-art can hardly be distinguished from one another. Thank you Mickey @micklarock01 for sharing the photos. Go follow her, Europe’s Queen of graff, if you haven’t done by now. I’ve known her since we first met at the Groninger Museum Coming From The Subway 1992 show. by @bladekingofgraf

Urban Legends – NYC Masters27 Settembre – 10 Dicembre 2025Arena Studio d’Arte presenta @bladekingofgraf: uno degli artisti che ha dato forma ai #graffiti come li conosciamo oggi. Nato a New York, detiene il titolo di “King of Graffiti“ per aver dipinto oltre cinquemila treni con il suo stile inconfondibile. A lui si deve lo sviluppo di stili divenuti iconici, come le lettere 3D sovrapposte e le “Blockbuster Letters”, capaci di coprire interi vagoni.Dopo aver trascorso anni a trasformare i treni in tele urbane, nel 1984 Blade smette di dipingerli, certo di non avere più nulla da dimostrare. Inizia così a lavorare con altri media, creando opere pensate per le mostre d’arte contemporanea, che gli valgono un riconoscimento internazionale. Dal 1981, con la sua prima personale in Europa, partecipa a numerose esposizioni in sedi prestigiose in tutto il mondo.
