Trigger warning- Sappy post incoming.
Words cannot begin to express the amazing feeling it is to accomplish personal goals on the path of one’s dream.
My first ultimate figure design also got to be my favorite slasher, which I was also able to put personal touches in, which also got to be a con exclusive, which ALSO sold out completely!
Incredibly thankful to @randyfalk who literally gave me the “go” to come up with this idea and run with it (talk about a leap of faith). The trust of allowing me creative freedom while also encouraging me to include some of my own art as accessories and box art is just mind blowing to me and what you can only hope for in a boss. @martychenley THANK YOU for the incredible sculpt work- Seeing the new masks was amazing enough, but then to see that little statue based on my drawing? I’m in awe! @plasticvampireart , you NAILED the exclusive packaging and just “got it”. (the nods and Easter eggs throughout this box really make it special). Thanks @geoff_trapp_did_it for taking the time out of your own work for pointers on traditional paint application so I could do all the deco by hand. Our photographer Stephen for letting me come up with the shots for our gallery and creating such beautiful images. @stefanfolkins for dealing with my OCD and not giving up until that robe was absolute perfection. (This team really was SO supportive in my crazy obsession.) @funworldhalloween for allowing us to take their costumes and create this figure. And of course, all of you who supported and purchased. The reception on this is more than I could have imagined- and I am so grateful for every minute of this.
Designing action figures is not just a job or a hobby for me, but a lifelong passion. Seeing my art on a con wall and my massive obsession with this slasher be such a hit is so incredibly validating and lets me know I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. WHAT A NYCC!

@mattelcreations @wwe Rock N’ Wrestling SDCC Exclusive 3-pack with first time in the line THEE @cyndilauper .
This set cleverly recreates an episode of Piper’s Pit where Captain Lou thought he could take credit for Cyndi’s new hit “Girls Just Want To Have Fun”. She played it cool at first, but you don’t get Cyndi mad, as Lou and Roddy soon found out.
Cyndi went on to manage in the WWF, help crossover into MTV, and was even involved in the first ever Wrestlemania. With so many iconic moments, I certainly hope so see many more figures in the near future!

This set will be available at SDCC starting Wed 7/22 and on sale at MattelCreations.com Thurs 7/23 at 9AM PT/12PM ET (while supplies last).

🏳️‍🌈🔪PROUD TO SLAY🔪🏳️‍🌈

Today is officially #PrideDay and marks the 57th anniversary of the historic #StonewallRiots that sparked the ongoing fight for #LGBTQIA rights. Today we celebrate a culture that spans the globe and is long entwined with many things near and dear to us, but among them, #Horror.

Today we’re highlighting one of our favorite pieces in the collection, designed by friend of the pod @blainerthings — the 2023 NYCC Ghostface. It’s a real… SCREAM. 😱

There’s still a lot of work to be done out there, but together, anything is possible. And remember — this AIC family is an inclusive one. 🫶

🦇 Happy World Dracula Day! 🦇
On this day, 129 years ago, one of my favorite books was published and spawned more than a century of influence. Though not the first vampire book, Bram Stoker’s Dracula certainly paved the way for vampires as we know them in pop culture today. But did you know The Count looked very different than the Bela Lugosi you’re probably picturing in your head?
The original novel describes Dracula as “a tall old man, clean shaven save for a long white mustache, and clad in black from head to foot.” “With high bridge of the thin nose and peculiarly arched nostrils, with lofty domed forehead, and hair growing scantily round the temples but profusely elsewhere.’’ “Short, hairy hands with long, pointed nails.” “Glowing red eyes.” And familiar features, like the sharp white teeth, pale skin, and pointed ears.

This is a little doodle of what I picture in my head when I read the book. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.
