Get those dining rooms ready! My dining chairs didnt show up yesterday so we are getting creative 🫣😵‍💫 ... and I'm dreaming of these gorgeous chairs from Italy we used in a project a few years back We may dine from trays this year, but will certainly remember the laughs and time shared with family. Happiest Thanksgiving wishes to all! We're always figuring out how to capture the styles and lifestyles of others in this business, hoping that the spaces we create "look just like" our clients and paint the perfect backdrop for all of the precious moments in their lives. This kitchen, however, is starting to look just like me☺️😆In my "older years" i can finally admit: i love a pop of orange, olive and chartruese greens are without a doubt my favorite colors. I love lots layers and textures-always. Im drawn to traditional textiles and papers, but when contrasted by something a little more modern or with unexpected color, they captivate and keep my attention. I like formalities and a sense of glamour but deep down I'm very casual. Give me fashion, the en vogue resturants and destinations and all the glitz but know ill put my jeans back on as soon i get home and ill need a "time in nature" fix first thing in the morning. It's been a long time coming but (slowly) we're feeling at home🧡💚🧡 taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @blairedesignsllc

➡️➡️➡️for the BEFORE “This house is going to break me”. Ive said those words weekly, if not daily for over 3 years now. It’s been a marathon, a passion, a love, a hate, a qaurell, a test in patience, in communication, in vision, in restraint, on energy and on my capacity in every way. But as we near the finish line and I’m packing our life into boxes, i decided to glance back at where we came from. Wow. Id forgotten. Cant believe i walked into that room back in 2021 and saw this. @ronfarris2134 i cant believe that we layed out the future basic floor plan for this historic home in just about 1 meeting together 😜 Its been a long road but i know there are lots of memories to made in the new version of this home. I might have to catch up on sleep lost for the next 3 years but… eventually… 🏡💚💚 #comingsoon #staytuned #progressnotperfection #progresspic #nashvillehomes #historichome #historicrenovation taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @blairedesignsllc

A “Progress Pic” to ease the Winter blues on this frigid day in Nashville🤍🤍 I don’t often post progress pics… not sure why… lord knows i have enough to eat up 90 percent of my phone’s memory… i think its because I can’t move past the notion that the instagram grid is a place where only perfection lives. I refuse to edit photos, I’m horrible at a Reel, and i can often be found working with no make -up on, potentially sweaty (there is a chance in even jogged to the site visit). As an introvert, “posting” is the frequently the last thing on my mind when snapping shots and, as an achiever (enneagram 3: blessing and a curse) i cringe at something that is not complete, not just how i envisioned the final product to be… not my idea of perfect. In the spirit of progress over perfection and authenticity- always! - here’s a progress pic;) taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @blairedesignsllc

Wishing I were still in Palm Beach, enjoying the sunshine and endless design inspiration as I look back on my photos from our recent trip. I enjoyed some fabulous in-person showroom visits and loved popping into the Kips Bay Palm Beach show house to see the beautiful spaces.
