one year, i love and miss you forever💜🌻
here’s how i carried my mom with me through this year:
- i toured athens with her friends, Beth and Claire
- went to 4 concerts, my mom loved live music
- completed a long term service project, my gold award
- watched lots of silly rom coms
- listened to lots great music
i will miss you every single day for the rest of my life and doing things i know you love makes the grief a little bit easier. i will never stop telling people about how you were the queen of fashion, one of the funniest people i’ve ever known, an incredible mom, and the strong, beautiful woman i aspire to be everyday. you will always be my mom, and an invisible string will always tie you to me. by @blairkbowers

funerals are boring and predictable, and my mom was anything but boring or predictable. she was the life of the party. so instead, her friends and family came together to listen to good music and share good stories in honor of her birthday.

Mommy, I’m so lucky to call myself your daughter. We didn’t have enough time together, but I will always be grateful for the time we did have. I would pick you to be my mommy in every lifetime. I could talk about our memories for hours, but words will never fully describe how much you mean to me and how much I love you.
