PSA: I have to say, I fxcking love my tribe. I moved here 8 years ago, not knowing anyone and I am just so grateful, blessed and honoured to have the people I have in my life. This birthday looked very different than my last few here and I’ve been on such a high since. My family flew out to see me, I didn’t realize how much I needed that until they were here .. my friends showed up and poured into me in a way I didn’t expect. At one point, I looked up at the people in my living room and just felt an overwhelming feeling of gratitude, joy and love.

I’m still emotional about it and really don’t want to take these moments for granted. Thank you to everyone who showed up, helped me with whatever I needed at the time, wished me a happy birthday and sent beautiful, deep and impactful messages.

Here’s a random dump of birthday activities in no order whatsoever spread across two weekends with many of the people I love and cherish, footage of me being super NY apparently lol (I mean that will never not be the case) and just wholesome moments, joy and love captured across 20 slides. Enjoy while I go cheerfully cry in the corner lol

And thank you to @ashmcflyy for suggesting and being the force behind throwing a joint party - if it wasn’t for her, there wouldn’t have been a party - but that was the best decision we could have made. We had a blast! 🎉
