“Jacket Niner Zero, cleared for the option, Runway 18.” ✈️ Can’t put into words how much of a joy it was to fly and land an airplane by myself. My first solo sparked a new love for aviation once I got to fly on my own and reminded me why I fell in love with flying in the first place. 1 Corinthians says, “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.” With that being said, whether it’s the food you eat or the airplane you fly, do it for the glory of God. My first solo is just a small taste of what aviation is really about, and I’m happy to say I can’t wait to continue moving forward in my training. I may have gotten a little carried away and even flew an extra traffic pattern, but I guess that says something about how much I enjoyed every second of it. Thank you Nickolas for teaching me how to take off and land an airplane and to everyone who showed up and supported me during my solo. Videos of my landing and takeoff are in the very back (; by @blaize__putnam06
