Will you keep funding the frontlines? Yarrabah needs your solidarity - and not symbolically, but materially. Link in bio also! If you don’t know about Yarrabah, you should. A staunch First Nations mission community that didn’t die out quietly, but instead forged a new shared identity of survival and perseverance, grounded in traditional Lore and Law. Yarrabah is a living and active testament to all occupied First Nations, and that “resistance is existence”. However, resistance requires solidarity, and after our initial fundraising of $5,000+ and many donations for our first trip up to kickstart some projects with them, we have now established a continuous chuffed fundraiser, to maintain funds for both survival needs and the progression of the projects, especially between our visits up. By sending your stolen wealth to this cause, you’re supporting the following self-determination projects: • Reviving a commercial farm • Improving family homes for quality of life • Reviving a plant nursery and propagating 1000’s of seeds • The creation of a co-op/op-shop • Commercial and mob-only Campsite development • Supporting women and queer people • Supporting parents and children • Developing a physical hub and local capacity for local, national and international political organising, run by mob. In the eye of evil we stared, united against empire, colony, and the institutions that uphold racism, fascism, and hate. Unmoved. We are stronger than they will ever be. Spirit, heart, and ancestors guide us. They tried to attack Camp Sovereignty again today. But we were too many. The forces of hate will keep testing us, and we will keep defending the sacred fire and this land. They think they can erase 65,000 years of culture. But the First Peoples of this land are the oldest living civilisation on earth. That spirit is immovable. An attack on one of us is an attack on all of us. This is stolen land. INVASION DAY RALLY + MARCH 2026 ‼️ While the colony rallies behind glossy “March for Australia” displays and politicians keep insisting we’re all moving forward together, our communities are watching a very different story unfold in NSW. One where governments expand police powers that hit our young people first, child removals keep rising despite endless promises of change, and decisions about Country are made without the people who hold the oldest authority here. It’s been a year where national pride is being marketed louder than ever, yet the truth of ongoing harm, dispossession, and state violence is pushed further out of sight. In 2025 in New South Wales alone, 12 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have died in custody so far, the highest number on record for any year. In NSW, Aboriginal children make up around 40% of all kids in “care”, despite being a tiny fraction of the child population. And all of this is happening as the world watches multiple genocides unfold overseas, with Australia refusing to take a meaningful stance beyond carefully managed statements and political distance. The Albanese and Minns governments sit on their hands, offering sympathy without action, while communities across this continent rally in solidarity because we recognise state violence when we see it. Instead of listening, governments clamp down on protest, censor voices, and criminalise resistance; the same tactics historically used against our own people. It’s no coincidence: a nation built on dispossession will always try to control the voices that call it out, whether those voices are fighting for justice here or standing with communities fighting for survival abroad. The Blak Caucus is calling people together because sovereignty has never been ceded, and because every struggle our communities face is tied to a system built on invasion, genocide and lies. Stop Black deaths in custody First Nations rally in Parramatta that was called in response to Zachary Rolfe speaking at a police conference. Rolfe was a police officer who shot Kumanjayi Walker in 2019. The conference was cancelled after the rally was announced. The rally continued and took up the ongoing campaign for justice for Kumanjayi White and everyone who has been murdered in custody. The rally also marked the NT intervention, which was started 18 years ago today. The rally was organised by the @blakcaucus , who you can follow for future actions.
