Doing an Environmental staged reading of “Ghosts” by Henrik Ibsen was a surreal experience for those on and off stage at Casa Duse. Eleonora Duse did the play famously in her time, and now we work to bring it to life in a space shrouded by her memory and artifacts. Thank you to all who came!

proudly presents: GHOSTS

An immersive stage reading of Henrik Ibsen’s timeless family drama about hidden secrets, living ghosts, and the bitter truths which challenge fundamental values of society. With live musical accompaniment, Scandinavian hors d’oeuvres and performed throughout the 19th century parlor townhouse of Casa Duse, the audience will be transported to the fjords of Norway where the ideas explored and the feelings revealed are as relevant now as they were in 1881.
