On may 30th, 2023 I lost my hero, my role model, my motivator… MY PAPA😣 If you knew my papa he was a simple man who didn’t share much.. but when he did everyone listened. I don’t think i’ve realized until recently how much of an impact he had on my personality. Papa was kind of guy who preferred Mcdonald’s over a steak dinner as long as y’all were laughing having a good time he didn’t care. I hate that you are not here with me and mommy anymore. I know that my mom lost her buddy yesterday. I have so many emotions running i don’t even know what i’m feeling at this point. Hearing your mom screech in agony while the best role model you’ve ever known is passing away right in front of you… it’s pretty heart wrenching 💔 All i ask is that you tell your folks you love them ❤️you never know when that last call is. I love you Papa thank you for inspiring me to be the man I am today as you continue to look over me. Save me a seat in Heaven💙💙💙 by @blakelive__

Emman you are one of a kind💙

I never knew what it meant to be hardworking and relentless until I met you. You were the definition of no one telling you what your destiny was. “coach im a bucket” i’ll never forget you working out 3x a day and at 4 am running miles before school just to make the basketball team. You inspired me. You inspired our friend group. You inspired people who you only knew from a distance. You were able to make me laugh when know one else could. You always knew how to push my buttons and make me giggle 😂 You were the definition of a true friend. You would text me during class and ask if i wanted to go get shots up after school at least 3x a week. (your jumper was better than mine i’ll admit it now😭🤝) You would invite us over and always made sure we felt at home with the bigger blanket and would give us your last water even if that meant you went without. So many people didn’t get to see the truly wonderful person you are. I wasn’t ready to let you go and i’ve been in tears since i got that call. I might not understand why… but God does and he wanted one of his starting angels to get called up to varsity. Earth didn’t deserve emmans sweet soul… God was ready for him. 💔💔iv’e been putting off posting this because it feels like all my post nowadays are about losing someone… unfortunately on March 24th, 2025 Nana took her last breath.. Knowing God called up Nana to sing in his Choir brings me much peace, you can not be present here on earth as well as present with God! Nana & God made a choice that I can not refute🥹❤️ Nana was everything you would want in a grandma… smell of bacon waking you up while nana has a warm towel waiting for you and asking if you want pancakes or waffles💛 Nana woukd read me a bible story every night and I didn’t understand fully at the time, but she layed a great foundation for my passion to Follow Christ🧎‍➡️Nana was the best person to have around if you were sick/or at least thought you were sick 😂😅 I’m so glad my Grandma who was one of the most prolific nurse practitioners in DFW got to live another life after … serving as a Teacher at Parkland Hospital and serving on the board of her sorority 🐢 I just miss my grandma so much.. I’m so glad she got to see her Texas Rangers Win the Damn Thing🏆 (25yr szn ticket holder) Every conversation with Nana felt easy and now those conversations will be in Spirit with you by my side. Losing now both grandparents in the past 2 years.. my only message to you is that make sure your peeps know where they are spending enternity .. and pick up that phone when they call… you never know if it’s the last one or if you can prevent it from the being the last one.
