To Alpha Phi Alpha:
Thank you for shaping me into a more grounded man, a more intentional leader, and a true brother. I won’t ever take what this House has given me for granted, because it’s forever part of who I am.

To The 499th House, the MIGHTY Xi Omicron Chapter:
I came to UD not knowing anything about Greek life until the met the men of Alpha Phi Alpha. This chapter has stood as a legacy of excellence, brotherhood, and men determined to leave their mark. Joining this chapter gave me far more than letters, it gave me growth, accountability, purpose, and a family that challenged me to become the best version of myself. During moments when I struggled to see my own potential, the brothers around me continued to pour into me, push me, and remind me who I was becoming. I am thankful to have made my fraternal bonds here with the best fraternity known to man.

To W.W.N🛡️:
Some people walk through college and leave with memories. I walked away with brothers. What we built together was tested, sharpened, and strengthened through every obstacle we faced side by side. Y’all became the kind of people I could lean on without hesitation, brothers who understood the assignment long before words were ever needed. If one of us wins, we all feel it. If one of us needs backup, nobody has to ask twice. That’s the kind of bond that doesn’t fade with distance or time, it just changes form and stays solid. Grateful I share that kind of connection with y’all. Love yall boys!

To my Neos:
Continue to uphold the standard. Protect this house, honor this legacy, and never forget the responsibility that comes with wearing these letters. Make your mark, but always remember whose shoulders you stand on.

Growing up, I never knew if college was truly meant for me. There were moments filled with uncertainty, doubt, and obstacles that made the future feel unclear. But tomorrow, as I graduate from the University of Delaware in just 3.5 years, I can confidently say this journey changed my life. Every challenge, sacrifice, and accomplishment shaped me into who I am today.

One thing I learned during my time at UD is that involvement changes everything. As a Black student on a predominantly white campus, finding community, leadership opportunities, and spaces where I felt seen made all the difference. Getting involved didn’t just help me build a resume, it helped me build confidence, purpose, lifelong relationships, and a legacy bigger than myself. Here’s what involvement looked like for me:

-Center for Black Culture Study Abroad scholarship recipient
-Change Agent Award recipient from Fraternity and Sorority Leadership and Learning
-500+ service hours
-Studied abroad in Barbados🇧🇧 (30 days), Ghana🇬🇭 (14 days), and Thailand🇹🇭 (30 days)
-Alumni speaker for the 2024 Barbados study abroad program
-Mentee for the 2024 Leaders of the Free World Cohort
