62,305 ft of human powered skiing in Chile 🇨🇱 (18990m)

We watched this 30 year winter hammer the Andes mountains and decided it would be a great time to check off some 4,000 and 5,000 meter faces and couloirs in the central Andes. We rented some trucks in Santiago and drove east with no real plans other than to ski as much as possible. Only thing we were left disappointed by was that it wouldn’t stop snowing and our weather windows were short. Hard to put the rest of this trip into a couple instagram posts, I’ll certainly be back! Muchas gracias a todos por la buena onda y la hospitalidad. A seguir dándole con todo! taken in Los Penitentes Centro de Ski by @blakeski_sam

Cerro Arenas SE face. An Andes classic 3000ft or 1000m couloir made by vertical strata of hard sandstone and conglomerate. On our second attempt we found great snow after a long booter. Shout out to the homies for being great partners in the mountains 🤙 taken in Refugio Club Alemán Andino by @blakeski_sam
