It’s always a pleasure to spend a few moments with the Tudor Black Bay Chrono, especially when it features this brilliant white dial. My favourite watch of all time is the Rolex Daytona and I like to think of this Tudor model as a stepping stone toward the ultimate grail.

I’m still wearing the Explorer 40 daily and enjoying the honeymoon period that just doesn’t seem to end. It would take a pretty special watch to knock this one off its pedestal, but I’m excited to see what else I can get my hands on this year.

The Tudor Pelagos is a little too large for my 6.5” wrist to wear comfortably, but that doesn’t stop me from admiring the beauty of this design. Titanium construction makes it a lightweight and practical tool watch for those with an active lifestyle.

I finally got my hands on the new Tudor Ranger 36mm in Dune White. Besides being a fantastic size that just disappears on the wrist, the watch also adds a unique dial colour to a portfolio of otherwise lacklustre pieces.

After all this time I still think this is one of the best looking watches Tudor has released. The Black Bay GMT has all of the qualities collectors seem to crave, most notably the perpetually intriguing red and blue bezel. It’s a little bit on the thicker side but if you have the wrist to support this hefty 41mm model you’re likely to enjoy the experience.
