My bestfriend left on his mission today… Miles is greatest example and role model and brother that I could ask for. Miles has taught me so many things growing up, how to dress cool, how to not look like a dork, what music is cool, how to drive, how to insult eachother without being intentionally mean and how to be a teenager. Miles judged me and shaped me so I could be a normal kid (grateful for this). Every step in life I took I could turn to miles for advice because he had already taken it. From 2009 to 2025 we have always been inseparable, always side by side to make fun of eachother or to crack jokes about a post we sent eachother on insta. I have always known miles as the “cool older brother”, I would always feel so cool walking into school with him or hanging out with him and his friends—kinda like a Greg and Roderick type relationship in Roderick rules (when they liked eachother). I love miles so much, I’m so proud of him and I’m so stoked for him to serve our Heavenly Father in the country of Panamá. Without him I’m living a totally different life but I know because of him, I will be alright, no worries. I love you Elder Parkinson, Quick 2, “Vaya con dios”🫶🇵🇦 by @blakewparkinson

God is so good…HE hears your prayers even when you don’t think, HE has a prepared promise land for all of us, HE called his true prophet Joseph Smith to restore his gospel on this earth, HE is constantly working in my life, HE sends people into your life for a reason, and HE answers prayers in his timing and in a way that’s best for you. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. I know they love me and know me personally, and I’m so glad they sent me on this trip to build a testimony about their saints that were called upon by them.
