Blak Wave Productions x Channel 4 IP fund. We are so please to share with the world that we were successful in our pitch to the @channel4 creative equity fund.

This is big for Blak Wave. Mena and I do a lot of documentary’s and short drama films but we are super excited to be developing our first drama tv show with Channel 4

This has been years in the making and it’s a reminder that this game is a marathon and not a sprint. Shout out to the other companies selected we are in good company.

Big up to Jenny Davies we cooking up some big tings

Swipe for excitement ✨

And just like that, that’s a wrap on the fourth iteration of New Voices. Huge congratulations to this fantastic cohort, who applied with a short film idea and took part in a journey of mentorship, script development and more, culminating in a pitch to their peers, the NETWORK team, and Ti from Film Hub South West. We’re so grateful to have been part of each project’s development and can’t wait to see what you do next!

New Voices wouldn’t be possible without our brilliant partners, so thank you to @blakwavepro, @lbl_films and @bristolafproductions. Thanks also to @bristolschoolofacting and @aardmananimations for providing incredible days for the cohort, and of course to everyone who attended our celebration last night. by @blakwavepro

🎬 BIG NEWS!
We’re making our international premiere at AFRIFF - Africa International Film Festival!🇳🇬✨
So excited to bring stories from parts of the diaspora back to Lagos, NIGERIA alongside all the other amazing contributors!

So many of us with Nigerian heritage have and continue to contribute so much to the game of rugby we all love. It’s an honour to have captured a bit of that history through @kapolkao featuring @drsimipam and to be selected by AFRIFF to bring those stories alongside all our contributors to a global audience.
