Sometimes the most meaningful gifts are made from things we already have. Like an old flannel shirt that belonged to Dad or Grandpa. 🥹🥰

I can take that fabric and turn it into a small embroidered heart, even adding their handwriting, for him to tuck inside his jacket on his wedding day.

I love the thought of giving a groom something so personal. Something that lets him carry a little piece of someone he loves on one of the biggest days of his life.

Who knew an old birthday card would become one of the most meaningful parts of her wedding day? 🤍
I think sometimes we forget just how special someone’s handwriting really is. Those little notes tucked away in drawers and old birthday cards become treasures as the years go by.

Taking handwriting from an old birthday card and adding it to a granddaughter’s wedding veil is something I will never get tired of creating. It’s these little details that remind me a wedding veil can be so much more than just something pretty to wear.

I just love the thought of taking something that was part of their wedding day and giving it a new life on yours.
These little vintage charms are such a beautiful way to incorporate pieces of an old wedding dress into your wedding day. Maybe it’s a little lace from Grandma’s dress or something special from your Mama’s.

My bride sent me a piece of her mama’s handwriting, and we added those precious words to her veil.

There’s something about handwriting that feels so personal, because it’s so recognizable by the ones they love. It’s something that was actually made by their hand.

And on a day when you’re missing them more than ever, having that little piece of them with you means everything.

So in a way, Mama still got to hold her hand down the aisle. 🤍 This is why I believe your veil doesn’t always need more...

There’s something so special about adding a tiny hummingbird to a bride’s veil in memory of someone she loves. It’s a little piece of their love tucked into one of the biggest days of her life.

I make these hummingbirds as embroidered keepsakes and attach them with magnets, so they can be worn on your veil, tucked into your bouquet, or placed somewhere meaningful on your dress. And after the wedding, you can remove it and keep it forever.

Maybe we should spend as much time praying over the marriage as we do planning the wedding. 🤍

Marriage is such a blessing, but it can also be hard. There will be really good seasons and seasons where you have to fight a little harder for each other.

We took her mom’s actual handwriting and added it to her veil so she could carry a little piece of her with her down the aisle.
This is the kind of detail that means so much more than lace or sparkle. It doesn’t have to be big or elaborate to be special. Sometimes it’s just a few handwritten words from someone you’d give anything to have there.
