POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It went all the way down to the last bag of the final weigh-in for Wanger and I to finally wrap up the Team of the Year title in our 4th Shootout Fishing League season together!

Big thanks to my partner, what an awesome run with a lot of clutch fish, laughs, memories, singing and dancing lol

Congrats to runners up Pat and Kali on an amazing season who continued to bring the heat and keep the pressure on right til the final event. Great sticks and great people! Already looking forward to battling it out again with you next year!

Thanks to all our friends and family that supported throughout the season. Superstitiously, I kept from posting after our hot start and didn't want to jinx it. Full season recap coming this week. taken in Lake Couchiching by @blanch_blanchard

The boys are back! @williams_outfitters and I started the season off with a win on Balsam Lake. As usual...there were lots of stories, laughs and memories with my good buddy.

Thanks to @alexemilly for picking up the cold championship beers for an awesome after party with the Curve Lake crew.

Appreciate all the calls and messages. It's a been a few years!

A quick recap of our time at @deathandcompany and the @theramblehotel in Denver 🌄🍸
1. Excited to kick off the trip with @jo.nardangeli @blanch_blanchard and @marcthedesigner
2. The number of different bottles was MESMERIZING
3. Still dreaming about this salmon dish. The drinks here were fantastic but the food was standout
4. Menu # 1
5. Breakfast/brunch was just as delicious as dinner and the place totally transformed from busy cocktail bar at night to quiet and relaxing cafe in the morning.
6. Steak frites because we have to taste the steak everywhere we go
7. Menu # 2
8. No one told us about the coffee here. They put just as much effort into crafting these drinks as they do their cocktails. Mine has pineapple juice, ginger and a hint of lime
9. WISH YOU WERE HERE

Watching the Bassmaster Elites today on Harris Chain seems like no better opportunity to post a few pics of the Bassmaster Team Championship @williams_outfitters and I fished there in December. Brought our better halves down for the trip too and had an unreal time with @gwang2u @jesse.evans.9237 Cheese and Disco Stu! One I'll remember forever. Finished 2 spots out of a paycheck in a stacked 254 boat field. Looking forward to an opportunity to return.

The countdown wouldn't be complete without thanking @tomchopin and @psaras_niko from @freedomtackle and @american.baitworks . These guys have been tremendously supportive and have truly helped me grow and take that next step as tournament angler. They always make time to have me over in the shop, chatting fish stories and loading me up with the latest and greatest @halo.fishing rods and @freedomtackle @sthbaitco @netbait @scum.frog @snagproof tackle.

I know today is Bassmas Eve, but I got a little to excited last night and tied up all the new baits I can't wait to put to work tomorrow. Swipe to checkout the B Bug, Ion, Lollipop and especially the new Speed Freaks and Smash Mouth!

Thanks for everything guys! You really make me feel lucky and proud to be part of your team and Pro Staff. Goodluck on Monday Tom, but Sunday it's on Niko!

In at #3 is another talented guy and custom airbrush artist i would like to thank... the bearded Bob Ross of bass @dangle_baits ! As a former airbrusher myself, I absolutely love collecting and tossing these truly one of a kind paintjobs.

Carson and I have developed a pretty unique relationship...I send him PowerPoint presentations of inspiration and he sends me back awesome interpretations and hand written love notes!

He's a big fan of boat snacks and once won the neighborhood hotdog eating contest in his hometown. We also found out together that big bass like to eat hotdogs that much too! #walkthehotdog

Thanks for all the baits and the generous gift pack you whipped up without hesitation for me to take down south. Looking forward to the next package in the mail. Always fun to work together buddy!

The next person and business I'd like to thank is Brent Hashimoto from @hashimoto_concepts . Brent has been a huge supporter of both myself as tournament angler and as fan and promoter of @hkrs_fishing . Brent creates unreal handmade and painted glide baits for bass and musky that are truly works of art that are so damn nice I've often been afraid to throw and lose them!

Not only is Brent a talented artist, he is also all about the community aspect of fishing, connecting with viewers for Friday night whisky baiting and through his podcast @madetocast . Brent was kind enough to have me on the show to chat tournament fishing after my partner and I qualified for the Bassmaster Team Championship. Give eppy 15: Hkrs and Spaghetti Sandwiches a listen for a few stories.

Thanks for all the support buddy! by @blanch_blanchard

Well, it's the countdown to Bassmas Eve...in 5 days the season kicks off with the first @elitecanadianbassanglerstour event and I thought it would only be fitting to count it down with a handful of posts to thank the people and businesses that continue to help and support my fishing journey.

First up, the man, the myth, the mullet and legend @joerodfish from @purepowermarine . Joe and I go way back and he's responsible for giving me the chance to fish my first big time tournament with him and I was instantly hooked. Joe at Pure Power Marine keeps me rigged me up with electronics to compete and run all day with a dedicated power supply and next to no voltage drop. If you need some units or equipment installed and rigged up, Joe's the pro to contact.

Thanks Jrod!
