Dear Baseball,

Words cannot describe what you have meant to me. Through the ups and downs, winning and losing, adversity and injuries, you have always been the constant. The place I look for answers, the place I call home, and the place I have fun. The best years of my life have come from playing the sport that has been my life. It’s not how I wanted my career to end, but I went out knowing I gave it everything I had and left a mark on the game of baseball. To my coaches, teammates, trainers, family, and friends I made along the way, thank you!! It was a pleasure to play with and against you all. It was a remarkable run, but all things must come to an end. It’s time I hang the cleats up for good and move onto the next chapter of my life.
