Quick last minute trip today. The reds were just staring at me but this big ole gator trout was not shy. @wyzeguyztackle bambino got her to eat. 🤙🏼 #swfl #fishing #hewesboats #wyzeguyztackle #manggear taken in Cape Coral, Florida by @blane_be_fishin

Throw back Thursday to this beast. I might not ever catch a bigger snook in my life. And I’m fine with that. It was caught in Homosassa, FL which makes it even more special as giant snook are much more rare that far north. I should not have caught that fish. It should have got away on such light tackle getting me into the mangroves. I don’t know how I caught it but I did. Anythings possible I guess. Never give up. by @blane_be_fishin

Redfish of the year by far for me. Just testing out the trolling motor and decided to toss some topwater near sunset. Big explosion on the surface. Thought it was a large snook. Nope. Just the thickest red I’ve caught in a long time. What a tank. #kastkingusa #manggear #hondamarine #redfish #fishing #florida #wyzeguyztackle taken in Cape Coral, Florida by @blane_be_fishin

Possibly first color morph corn snake that I’ve found. Looks like the Okeetee bloodline but maybe there is a local bloodline like this that I don’t know about. I’ve never seen such thick dark outlines on a corn snake pattern in SWFL. Adding to the contrast of the beautiful colors. Mind you I’ve caught maybe a thousand corn snakes in my life. To find one a bit different is pretty dang cool. What a stunner! by @blane_be_fishin

Great day out on the water a few days ago with my wife. Enjoying the extra comfort on the bigger boat. No problem finding some hungry reds. #robaloboats #redfish #fishing taken in Pine Island, Florida by @blane_be_fishin

The first fish on the new boat had to be a redfish of course. Been just getting a feel for it with the fam. But can’t wait to start running charters on it. #robaloboats #redfish by @blane_be_fishin

Bruiser alert. When they start getting this size they really know how to throw down in the mangroves on light tackle. But you better be ready to throw down too. I have plenty of dates open for this summer if you want to have a go at some of these reds. #befishincharters #redfish #fishing #florida taken in Pine Island, Florida by @blane_be_fishin
