The Servant self portrait, Antwerpen.

Drawing inspiration from Joseph Losey's renowned film, "The Servant," I evoke a cinematic ambiance that transcends temporal boundaries. In this self-portrait navigates the intricacies of appearances versus reality, suggesting that beneath the facade of comfort and neutral femininity lies a narrative thread.
The deliberate juxtaposition of calmness and implied motion creates a visual tension, prompting contemplation about the duality inherent in the portrayed scenario. The scissors, as a symbolic element, act as a visual metaphor, signaling that there is more to the scene than meets the eye. by @blanket667
