BW130: Inch of Shadow

Link in bio.

Inch of Shadow is a Berlin producer and DJ making dark dance wave: dark disco, EBM, cold wave, acid and electro, built on analog synthesizers and hardware machines. Roots in post-punk and psychedelic rock set the mood, the 303 sets the pulse. Raw and melancholic, wave music made for a dark floor.

His DJ sets thrive on the tension between hypnotic acid melodies and raw dancefloor energy, bringing an unexpected emotional depth to sounds often associated with colder, darker territories. As a member of Berlin’s DADA Collective, he has brought his distinctive sound to venues and events including ://about blank, Beate Uwe, KitKat, Insomnia and Torture Garden at Metropol. His productions have found their way onto labels such as MM Discos, Stereo Society and Indigo Children Records, further shaping his place within the electronic underground.

For Blank Wave Guest Mix 130, Inch of Shadow delivers a journey through his sonic universe, featuring “Dans Les Ruines” by @blankwavesoundsystem feat. @betty_fr_69 , the project’s debut release on Samo Records.

Big thanks to Inch of Shadow for putting together this mix and including our very first release!

OPEN AIR KINO - ITALO DISCO LEGACY
* 𝘌𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘪, 𝘈𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘥𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘩

🎟️ Eintritt frei
Anmeldung über Free-Ticketlink in der Bio
Plätze limitiert!

Presented by @blankwave.wav & @discocaine1000 Gefördert durch den Verfügungsfonds Bahnhofsviertel und dem @25hourshotels_frankfurt .

BW129: Krismika

Link in bio.

Blank Wave is back from its summer break — and we’re excited to return with a new guest mix by Rotterdam-based DJ **Krismika**.

Deeply involved in the city’s underground scene both behind the decks and behind the scenes, Krismika also works as a programmer for the renowned radio station and cultural platform Operator. Previously, she was active as an event organizer for underground record label Pinkman and has conducted research on gender dynamics within the Dutch electronic underground scene.

As a DJ, Krismika’s sound is wide-ranging, yet deeply rooted in the sounds of the 80s. Drawing inspiration from that era, her sets move through New Beat, Electro, EBM, Wave, Italo, Chicago House and Acid House.

She has a particular passion for opening sets and radio shows filled with downtempo oddities — something she explores in her bi-monthly Operator radio show *Same but Different*. At the same time, she’s equally at ease spinning in a dark, sweaty basement in the middle of the night.

BW128: Scumintern

Link in bio.

Scumintern delivers anxious body music to underground venues in Berlin and beyond and is the host of new event series Anti Bodies. Her sets navigate the raw aggression of EBM, Industrial, and Synthpunk, the sleazy edges of Electroclash and New Beat, driving Electro, and the bittersweet synths of Minimal Wave, weaving in more unexpected sounds along the way.

Driven by a deep love for the sounds of the ‘80s and an insatiable curiosity, her mixes embrace contrast—shifting between dark and luminous, percussive and atmospheric, abrasive and emotive. Eclectic by design, they invite tension as much as release.
Scum of the world, unite.

BW127: Dynamic D

Link in bio.

Dynamic D is a Dutch DJ known for connecting the dots between Italo Disco, EBM, Dark Disco, Synthpop and Indie Dance. After years as a devoted bedroom selector, he made his live debut in 2015 at a Bordello A Parigi beach party and has since played Intergalactic FM Festival, Best Kept Secret Festival and clubs across the Netherlands, Mexico City, Warsaw, Finland and Germany — including Berlin institutions such as KitKatClub, Arkaoda, Klunkerkranich, Beate Uwe and ://about blank.

As a monthly resident at Rotterdam’s Operator Radio, he brings a sharp, genre-fluid approach to the booth: driving, melodic, sometimes strange — but always built for movement.

BW126: Miss Addams

Link in bio.

Miss Addams brings a distinctive, dancefloor-driven sound shaped by 80s synth aesthetics, analog textures and a deep love for darker electronic music. Cutting her teeth at Helsinki’s legendary new romantic Club Anvil, she later became part of the EBM-party collective Euroспорт at Kaiku and appeared at Kiosk Radio in Brussels, Synthicide in New York, and numerous goth, darkwave and dark techno nights across Helsinki and Berlin.

Having warmed up for underground icons such as Molchat Doma, She Past Away and NNHMN, her sound moves between buzzing EBM, pulsating darkwave and driving techno. Focused on flow and atmosphere, her sets balance 80s nostalgia with forceful club energy, built for emotional release and late-night movement.

Am Mittwoch im beben:
Blank Wave - Third Year Anniversary

@patyvapor (@Wrong Era · @sameheads)

@garcon_gaston (Obscure Obsession)

@shialabiff (@discocaine1000 & @blankwave.wav , Frankfurt)
