Since it’s my birthday, I thought I might celebrate by sharing a moment this year I’m extremely proud of ⭐️🌈⭐️ I was asked by the wonderful @jeniferaleja_s to perform at their fundraiser/double quinceanera party and I had the time of my life doing it 🥳 Since the themes of the night were ‘exploring your roots, exploring your art, and exploring what you were obsessed with at the age of 15’ I made this piece about the things that made me fall in love with my performance art - musical theatre, 20th century jazz and getting a little more bisexual every day ✨🕺✨ It was like a little love letter to my younger self. An enormous, big thank you to @peterabando for being a marvellous piano player and a stupendous collaborator, you’re a gem and a joy to work with. I hope this piece brings you warm fuzzy giggles and joy during this holiday season, my sweet friends ❤️🥰❤️ Happy holidays and a happy New Year ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌈🌈🌈⭐️⭐️⭐️ by @blarguerite

VASCULAR NECROSIS
A Touchstone Theatre + Glitch Theatre co-production

October 7–18, 2026
The NEST, Granville Island, 1398 Cartwright Street

Written by: Jordyn Wood
Directed by: Daniela Atiencia

Join us for the world premiere of Vascular Necrosis, Jordyn Wood’s darkly comic reimagining of the zombie apocalypse.

Five years ago, Penelope killed herself. Shortly after, she rose from the grave as a flesh-eating monster. Now, with the help of “de-necrotizers”—medication meant to subdue her zombie instincts—she gets to rejoin society in the land of the living. But how do you exist in a world you never wanted to be a part of?

Blending zombie lore, queer romance, and dark comedy, Vascular Necrosis turns the apocalypse into a meditation on grief, trauma, disability, and belonging as Penelope navigates the uneasy space between the life she left behind and the afterlife she wants to live.

A portrait of a tuckered out lil guy, who wants to unwind from a full day of producing/hosting/performing by hitting the beach with some loved ones at 1am so we can gaze at the Blue Moon and feel yummy 🌕 Thank you to our ever growing Show And Tell patronage for fostering community with us, thank you to @itssssssilken for chasing dreams with me and thank you to @ole_jacks_back for snapping this pic after someone said I looked like a Studio Ghibli character (the HEIGHT of compliments) 💜 Mm mm I’m nice n’ full ⭐️ by @blarguerite

LITERALLY COULD NOT BE HAPPIER 🌈🦄⭐️✨ Thank you so much to @cutzbybutz and @hellosalonsalon for giving me this rad as fuck, gender affirming as hell haircut 💫 God I’m just SO hot by @blarguerite

Dear 2025, you started out as a tricky little minx, throwing a fair number of misfortunes and challenges my way right out the gate. But then you went haha jk and genuinely ended up being the best most magical, empowering, friendship and community filled year. I couldn’t be more grateful ⭐️ And I have a feeling 2026 is ready to top it 💕🌈✨ Thanks to all those gorgeous people both in and not in these photos for giving me real good hugs, real good love, and real good laughs by @blarguerite

Happy Pride friends 😚🌈💜 In the spirit of being gay, this incredibly limited series is called FuckBoi Goes To The Forest And Flirts With You. I hope you get to kiss a queer today 🔥🧯🚒 🥰 by @blarguerite

Happy New Year sweet beans 🫘❤️🫛🌻 Lately I’ve been reflecting on resilience. On the lesson I keep relearning over and over again: that the grit required to be resilient can come from radical love and the courage to be soft. On the irony of how feeling pain can be a conduit to feeling peace. On how challenging, then rewarding it can be to hold duality with courageously curious hands. I hope 2025 is an appropriately challenging, curious, and resilient year for you ⭐️
(Also that last slide is TEN eagles flying over Wreck Beach 😭 Ugh nature is magical and I’m just like… So into birds 🌈🦅🫘) by @blarguerite

Lol I wanted to put these in with Slide 2 but they’re in landscape and since I’m a grandpa I couldn’t figure out how to mush the landscape photos in with the portraits 👴👍💕 by @blarguerite
