7.5 HOURS LATER… and she’s a BLAYNE’S BARBIE🎀💗

Virgin dark brown hair ➡️ a light blonde ombré balayage ✨

A full head of teasylights, a whole lot of foils, and 7.5 hours of trusting the process to take this girl from deep brunette to OG BLONDE Barbie🎀💝

This is why I love a good blonding transformation. Watching all that dark hair slowly turn into the brightest, softest blonde is literally so satisfying. And when the final blowout and curls hits and everything comes together😮‍💨🤏🏼

We weren’t rushing this one‼️we took our time, kept the integrity of her virgin hair in mind, and built the blonde slowly with low volume so we could get her exactly where we wanted her without compromising the integrity of her hair💅🏼

Dark hair girls, your blonde dreams are not automatically off the table 💋 Sometimes you just need a few hours😅, a LOT of foils, and a stylist who’s willing to put in the work.

Months of grow out, uneven blonde, and lots of unwanted orange/brassy tones GONE🤍

This was definitely more than just “making her blonde again.” The goal was to create a brighter, more even blonde while correcting the warmth throughout her hair all while keeping the integrity of her hair a priority.

For this transformation, I did a full head of teasylights + tip outs to carefully brighten and even everything out. After foiling, I checked the hair while wet before going in with the tonerand root shadow to help neutralize any yellow tones and bring the entire blonde together.

I love showing the process because blonde transformations like this don’t happen in one step. The placement, lightening, toning, and knowing what the hair can handle all make a difference.

A few months of grow out and a brassy blonde doesn’t mean you need to start over. Sometimes you just need the right plan and the right stylist ✨

A little overdue for a hair appointment 🤍

She hadn’t had her hair done in months, so we had some serious grow out to work with. We kept it simple with a partial foil + tip outs, focusing on the areas that needed the most brightness while keeping everything blended and dimensional.

After brushing everything out and working through her foils, we ended with a bright, fresh blonde that still feels super bright but blendy 😮‍💨😛

Sometimes you don’t need a full blonding session to make a big difference. (Depending on your starting point)

Trust the process. 🤍

Not every hair goal happens in one appointment, and that’s okay.

The first clip is what my client walked in with bands, uneven color, and a lot of previous history to work through. Instead of rushing the process and risking the integrity of her hair, we took the safer route.

Fast forward to her second session, and you can already see such a huge difference. Her blonde is more even, brighter, and so much closer to the end goal we had in mind.

Healthy hair will always come before rushing results. Sometimes the best transformations are the ones that happen over multiple appointments, and I promise they’re worth the wait. Seeing it all come together is one of my favorite parts of what I do✨😮‍💨

BLONDE BOMBSHELL 🔥✨

Around 6 & a half hours later😮‍💨😅

I do not come to play when it comes to my blonding! Full head of teasylights and a root melt for the best blend possible 🤌🏼

NOTE: Not everyone’s hair can handle a transformation like this! Her hair was completely virgin and was extremely strong!

Unfortunately I didn’t have time for a haircut at the end but she’ll be back for that and some more content lowkey ran outta time😅

Lighting changes everything✨🤍

This is your reminder that ash blonde isn’t one dimensional it changes depending on the light you’re standing in.
In this video, you see the difference between inside the salon with not a lot of natural light vs full window light... and the difference is wild.

Natural light shows the truest tone of your color, while indoor lighting can make the same blonde look deeper, smokier, warmer, or even a little dull depending on the bulbs. That’s why one photo can have you thinking, “Wait... is my blonde too ashy?” and the next one has you obsessed.

As hairstylists, we don’t just formulate for one type of lighting. We formulate for how your color is going to live in the real world, outside, in your office, at dinner, in your bathroom mirror, and in every selfie you take 🤭

So if you’ve ever looked at your hair in different places and thought it somehow changed overnight... it didn’t. The lighting did.☁️🤍

Did a big chop and my signature lived-in blonding on my gorgeous friend and client🙈

Im addicted to this GROW OUT blend😮‍💨

hello soft grow out and low maintenance blonde with a high maintenance look 💸💅🏻

my bestie and one of my fav clients recently decided we wanted to go for more of a rooted blonde to help soften out her grow out so she can go longer between appointments! We still wanted to keep her blonde but instead of going super heavy on the highlights I left some of her natural root in between her highlights to act as a root shadow instead of color that will fade. That created a gorgeous shadow effect that still looks purposeful.

As mentioned in the video it’s been 6 weeks since I touched her highlights so this appointment all I did was a money piece and a toner and she’s set for another 6 weeks! If this is the type of low maintenance blonde that looks high maintence, message me and let’s get you started on your blonde journey 🙈
