While in search for our Natalie and Henry, there was NO hesitation once Clover and Luz’s audition tape came into view. These two, not only have the sweetest onstage chemistry but are a real life couple which is what made it so much more meaningful and special for them both. The tenderest of angst and the power within their voices set an important tone for the atmosphere of this show. Thank you @loverbutchluz and @tboyfemme

Part of why I love performing is getting to share the stage with some cool and insanely talented people, people like Clover ( @tboyfemme ) and James ( @jamesdirck ) Their voices fit so well together, and made this famously adored piece so powerful. @blazelevario beautifully portrayed our Dan in act 2 of THE NEXT RIGHT THING. Their stunning Direction of our show throughout the entire rehearsal process is what shaped each and every one of the artists to make this show come to life. I originally proposed the idea for this project to Blaze back in early April after seeing them in their staged concert of The Last Five Years which also was performed @theratnyc and from there I knew we had to work together, so when putting up a show dealing with mental health was on the table, Blaze was all in. They were a light in the dark throughout this entire project and I could not be more grateful for all their love, support and dedication to our show. It was their idea to turn this into a fundraiser for @callenlorde and nothing brought me more joy than to raise money for a great cause! Donations are still ongoing and you can head to the gofundme link in my bio to donate! NOW THRU 9/30!! Currently at $746/$2000!!
