This year, I got to represent my @826active family surrounded by a community, for a cause that means something.

Proud of the miles, but even prouder for what it stood for.

Ever since I started running, I’ve spent a lot of time running for myself — chasing PBs, pushing my limits and seeing how far I can go.

But this time, it means more.

On 6th September, I’ll be running The Big Half on behalf of my run club, @826active , as we work towards making defibrillators more accessible in our communities through the charity @826heart

When a defibrillator is used quickly during a cardiac arrest, survival can potentially increase from roughly 1 in 10 to around 1 in 2 — showing just how important access to these devices can be.
