I think I’m finally done with school y’all 😮‍💨 All glory to God for the strength to make it through, and endless gratitude to my incredible family for their unwavering love, support, and prayers. This moment means everything 💛✌🏾 #GratefulHeart #AEGDResidencyGrad #EastmanDental by @blessedmelanin_

On Saturday, May 18th, I graduated from the prestigious University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. I remember a few weeks into D1 semester when I had a serious reality check (I mean like a virtual kick in the teeth), I vowed that I’d make sure to come out of this city with this degree. Blood, sweat, tears, whatever it took. And by the unwavering Grace of the Lord, 4 years later, I can say “Mama, I made it.”

Deuteronomy‬ ‭31‬:‭8‬. This verse is the embodiment of this accomplishment. If not for His Grace, I would not be here. Thank you to all of my family, friends, faculty, staff and literally the random strangers who expressed even an ounce of kindness to me when I was on the verge of hysteria and emotional collapse. Y’all made this journey worth it.

I am now the third Dr. Elensi in my family, but first dentist in my family. I don’t take this lightly and I pray the Lord gives me the strength to serve all patients with the compassion He so freely bestows on me.

With love and gratitude,
Dr. Blessing Edet Elensi ✨🦷 by @blessedmelanin_

Cheers to 30 🥂
Thirty, flirty, and pretending my knees don’t make sounds. Ohh and my back hurts, but my frontal lobe is fully developed 😉
But in all seriousness, I’m so beyond grateful and blessed to see this age. God has been truly faithful and merciful these past 3 decades. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Him and the wonderful people He’s placed in my life 🥰 by @blessedmelanin_

I found a diamond and chose to keep it for myself. In finding that diamond, I also found love, connection, and support. That diamond is you, @blessedmelanin_. I look forward to a future of caring for, loving, and protecting you every day of our lives. So help me God. by @blessedmelanin_

It’s finally hitting me the event that transpired last weekend… I didn’t know how I’d word this caption so I figured I’d use this week to pray about it first. Lord knows how happy and excited I am that my twin, brother and first friend on this earth is married to the one his heart belongs. I pray that as you embark on this new chapter together, your love for each other elevates and continues to be an example that love wins especially when guided by the Lord, who is Love Himself. Cheers to the endless memories to be made and another congratulations to Dr. and Mrs. Elensi 💕🥂 by @blessedmelanin_

Huge shoutout to @oduwaiam for these amazing pics - he’ll now be accepting bookings for all your photography needs 😅 by @blessedmelanin_

Someone needs to hear this: That “smile makeover specialist” operating in that basement is not luxury. It’s ghetto. ☺️

Come see me instead 😁 #Ironedthecape #D3 loading… 😷💉🦷 by @blessedmelanin_
