Thank you to my Heavenly Father for blessing me with this moment, this strength and providing me the opportunity to accomplish something great while feeling all kinds of love from everyone around me and from all over the world.

Thank you to @theswolefessor for being not only a coach but a brother and helping me become one of the strongest versions of myself that feels like I’m no where near the end of my potential
 (i hate that word) .

Thank you to my sponsors @sbdapparel @110percent @_silentworker for the consistent support and love.
Thank you @whitelightsmedia.uk for the great footage!

Thank you to my friends, my family and to anyone sending love my direction.

I am the second best 93 in the U.S.
writing that makes me sick and angry but i lost to the GOAT undeniably the goat in @league_of_lifting. I simply needed to be stronger and more confident in my abilities from the start. Simple as that.

Every great champion has been a part of legendary battles. With that comes occasional L’s . However the story is MORE about what you do in response.
MORE about, do you evolve into your winning season or do you fade away.
I have so much MORE to give so much MORE to bring into my training.
I’ve been at around the same squat and bench for the past 4 years so.
Its time to break past my plateau.
My time to finally level up.

I’m not the old vet
I’m the Pro in His Prime and from this moment on I’m taking what is Mine no matter the sacrifice.
Maxing out on everything i care about , giving nothing to anything else 🙏🏾

First and foremost thank you to the Lord up above 🙏🏾
Without Him I wouldn’t be where i’m at in life.
Not even close.
This was probably one of the hardest preps i’ve ever had just simply because i did not enjoy training one bit.
Every session done and everything i gave was purely on discipline & responsibility.
I almost fell out of love with the sport to be honest.
Mostly just letting experiences ruin the reason why i started this sport in the first place.
This worlds opened my eyes to the love i truly have for people and what this sport has to offer.
That drive for being the best athlete while inspiring & uplifting other athletes as we reach to achieve things never done before.
The fire lit within side of me.
This fire will not die or burn out.
The best wake up call sometimes is to live what you always dreamed of 🩵🪽

In My Last YT video i go over my thoughts around injuries and how just feeling things in a training session isn’t enough validation for action to be taken in regards to changing shit up unnecessarily . Don’t get me wrong it can be VALID but it just isn’t always the case. taken in AlphaLand by @blessedpitre

Week 3 RE CAP
I dont know how this week 3 was able to be so successful with all the variables lol.

This 350kg was done after a 4.5 hour drive to dallas and then a 1 hour drive to the gym early in the morning .

Very thankful for this session right here it’s been over a year since i felt like my deadlift strength was back.

Body weight and body fat percentage is still in a good space.

Again another case of truly being happy with this.
Woke up at 6am , reffed at a competition and then got to the gym at 8pm.
Still managed a great session of moving 300kg 🙏🏾

Drove back home to Houston on Monday and went to the gym Monday night and still managed 302.5kg x 4 paused - ish
Overall really strong week 3
Had to baby bench due to some shoulder complications but we shall see what the week 4 holds 🙏🏾 taken in Absolute Recomp - Fort Worth by @blessedpitre

The 93kg is the most hyped men’s battle at Avancus Houston 2026.

You voted the 93s as the most anticipated rivalry happening on October 4th. Gustav Hedlund is your front runner for this class, and the overall Avancus title. With one of the most decorated careers in the 93 kilo class worldwide as 2025’s world champion, Gustav is the one to beat.

However Brandon Pitre is back and will be giving Gustav a run for his money. After these rivals faced off in 2024, this is their first meeting back. Right behind them is Demetrius Smith, with one of the most dangerous deadlifts in the class worldwide, and coming close to a 920kg total at last year’s Avancus, Brandon and Gustav will be on their toes.

We have a slew of other 93 kilo threats knocking on the door behind these three, including Jordan McKinley, Demetri Ayala, and Kyle De Leon.

What’s Next?

Thank you to @joesullivan_aod for the post that brought out this blatant racism for the world to see.
Shoutout @jamalbrowner that tagged us in the comment thread so people like me & @theswolefessor could see what this man was saying.

Thank you for @lithuania_powerlifting responding quickly & firmly to this with the right actions going forward.

In this video i have a screen recording of the ipf executive board members with their emails & phone numbers. When we have issues or we want to improve our sport the lifters can also spam them for the results that we want!

Social media post create awareness but awareness needs productive action behind it in order for the future to be better.

@sonita_ml We are with you 🙏🏾 and i don’t know what full justice looks like for you but 2 guarantees i believe are a @sbdsheffield spot & a formal apology from @theipf
( i know Jo but tell the E-Board they need to give you that green light)

I believe we are at a point in which powerlifting is either going to become a real sport or it will become purely a hobby that can be used for content.
WE ARE THE SPORT. We have the ability to transform the system it just really takes working from the inside out as a collective for what we want. Every sports organization has struggled before it was truly standardized. We are not there yet but every problem faced can be a stepping stone To truly achieving that level. by @blessedpitre

Bradon Pitre has accepted his invitation for Avancus Houston 2026.

In 2024, Brandon won Powerlifting America Nationals, beating Jonathan Cayco’s total from Sheffield, in order earn his spot for the IPF World Championships.

In 2025, Brandon lost his title in a head to head battle with Jonathan, closely missing a pull for the win at lockout.

In early 2026, Brandon was coming into one of the most anticipated 93kg battles ever at Powerlifting America Nationals, with a host of 93kg killers, including eventual winner, Will Ball.

Unfortunately Brandon had to drop out due to injury, watching the day unfold from the commentary booth.

What will he bring to Avancus Houston 2026?
