‘Not a single prayer made by a fasting person at the time of breaking fast is rejected’ [Ibn Mājah] My brothers and sisters, How fortunate are we that our Allah has given us so many moments when our duas are readily accepted ❤️ Our duas are accepted in the last 3rd of the night (Tahajjud)🌃 Our duas are accepted between Adhaan and Iqaamah 🗣 Our duas are accepted between asr and Maghrib on Fridays 🕌 Our duas are accepted during the rain 🌧 Our duas are accepted whilst prostrating and after every Farz salah 🧎‍♂️The travellers, the oppressed and the parents dua for their child are never rejected 🤱 The duas of Laylatul Qadr, of the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah (including day of Arafat) and the dua made by the fasting person in Ramadan before iftar ❤️ Why do you think Allah and His beloved Prophet (pbuh) told us of these times? 😳 It is because our Allah wants us to rely and depend and ask from Him my brothers and sisters 🥺 Our Allah wants to accept our duas but we never take advantage of any of these moments to raise our hands to our Lord 😔 Even when we do, we don’t do it from the heart.. we only do it half heartedly with little hope that Allah will accept our duas 😕 We ask ourselves why Allah never accepts our duas but have we ever realised that what we ask for could be our downfall? 😮 we ask Allah to grant us wealth but that wealth may make us miserly and drag us to Hell.. we ask Allah for cure from illness but we would then lose the reward of sabr 😳 Allah may never grant us what we want but that doesn’t mean we ever stop asking ❤️ Ask Allah for forgiveness, Ask Allah for peace and afiyah around the world, Ask and Ask and keep on asking because our Lord is Generous and Loving ❤️ How often do we waste time before iftar in the kitchen or sleeping etc when we could be making dua at a time where duas are not rejected 🤲 Cry to Allah, show humility and weakness in front of Allah, Recite Durood before Dua, Call Allah by His many beautiful names - Allah always listens - He is closer to us than we think 💕 Let us all utilise the time before iftar in beseeching our Lord.. ‘O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those that came before you, so that you can become muttaqīn.’ [Surah Al-Baqarah 2:183] ❤️ Rasūlullāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam has said in a hadīth that Ramadān is a month, the beginning of which is mercy, the middle of which is forgiveness and the end of which is deliverance from the Fire of Jahannam. (Ibn Khuzaymah) ❤️ Fasting is exclusively for Allāh, the reward of it (being limitless) no one knows besides Allāh. (Aṭ-Ṭabrāni) ❤️ Rasūlullāh (saw) said, “When Ramaḍān comes, the gates of Jannah are thrown open, the doors of Jahannam are closed and the Shayāṭīn are imprisoned. ” (Al-Bukhārī) ❤️ Rasūlullāh (saw)said, “If anyone abuses him (the person who is fasting), then he should say, ‘I am fasting. ’” (Al-Bukhārī, Muslim) ❤️ Fasting is a shield and a powerful fortress. Mangoes 🥭 - a fruit which is so popular and loved by so many of us but how many of us have ever realised that it is my Allah that created and sent mangoes in my life? 😳 my brothers and sisters, it is Allah who grows the mangoes from the mango trees for us in the tropical regions of this world 🌴 Mangoes have been a part of human diet for around 5000 years.. it was first discovered in India and traders took the seeds to parts of Asia, Africa and South America 🌍 Today nearly half of the worlds mangoes are produced in India 🇮🇳 it is estimated that more fresh mangoes are eaten around the world every day than any other fruit such is the blessing of Allah 😦 Just look at how Allah has created this amazing fruit - it comes in various shapes,sizes and colour including yellow/orange/red/green 🥭 Our Allah has created more than 400 different varieties of mangoes of varying tastes and textures with popular ones such as Alphonso, Kesar, Chaunsa etc.. Allah has given mangoes a beautiful aroma to our noses 👃🏾 Mangoes are actually closely related to cashews and pistachios 😳 We can eat mangoes raw and use them to make so many other things like juice, ice cream, smoothies, milkshake etc 🍨 Mango lassi is a very popular drink in South Asia 🥛unripe mangoes are used in chutneys, pickles, salads etc.. we humans have utilised this blessing of Allah in so many ways without ever thanking our Lord 😔 In such a temporary transitory world, our Allah has given us such beautiful blessings despite us being so unworthy of them.. so many people around the world cannot afford mangoes or ever taste them.. we have every type of fruit available to us my brothers and sisters 🧡 just imagine how the fruits of Jannah will be if we have delicious fruits like mangoes in this world 😯 The next time we buy and eat mangoes, just take a moment to say Alhamdulillah and thank our Allah who has sent mangoes in our life 💕 #alhamdulillah #mango #mangoes #fruit #subhanallah by @blessings.for.us

‘O you who believe, fear Allah, and everybody must consider what he (or she) has sent ahead for tomorrow. And fear Allah. Surely Allah is fully aware of what you do. And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves.’ [Surah Al-Hashr 59:18-19] ❤️ ‘O my servants who have transgressed against their own selves, do not despair of Allah’s mercy. Surely, Allah will forgive all sins. Surely, He is the One who is Most-Forgiving, the Very-Merciful. Return to your Lord, and submit to Him before the punishment comes to you, after which you will not be helped.’ [Surah Az-Zumar 39:53-54] ❤️ ‘Umar ibn Al-Khattaab, said, “Call yourselves to account before you are called to account, and weigh yourselves before you are weighed, as calling yourselves to account today will make it easier for you when you are called to account tomorrow, and be adorned for the great appearance: that Day shall you be brought to Judgment, and not a secret of you will be hidden.” ❤️ Shaddad bin Aus (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A wise man is the one who calls himself to account (and refrains from doing evil deeds) and does noble deeds to benefit him after death; and the foolish person is the one who subdues himself to his temptations and desires and seeks from Allah the fulfillment of his vain desires". Alhamdulillah - we all enjoy the blessing of having warm blankets to snuggle up in during the bitter cold days 🥶 Everyone reading this today will have blankets in their homes and rooms waiting to be used whenever they require it.. but how many of us have ever appreciated or thanked our Allah for giving us blankets? 😳 My brothers and sisters, it is our Allah who has given us blankets for our ease.. it is Allah who created the sheep’s with wool on them 🐑 we shear this wool and use it to make the thick blankets we wrap ourselves in ☺️ It is Allah who grows the cotton plants for us from which we derive cotton to make the blankets we wrap ourselves in 🌱 It is Allah who has given humankind the intellect and limbs to weave and knit and sew materials into blankets 🧶 it is Allah who has given humankind a brain to understand how to get warmer by wrapping a blanket around us 🧠 Look at how the other creations of Allah like animals have no intellect on how to use a blanket 😮 We humans can simply pick up a blanket and wrap it around ourselves whenever we require them by the mercy of Allah ❤️ It is Allah who has given us wealth and a sufficient standard of living to be able to access and buy blankets 💴 So many of our fellow humans around the world have to battle the cold harsh conditions without any warmth from blankets 😰 imagine how much they would appreciate a blanket - something which we take for granted 🥺 we should donate our warm clothes and blankets to the homeless and poor countries.. When we came into this world, one of the first blessings that Allah gave us was to be wrapped in a warm blanket 🤱 Our Allah looked after us when we were a defenceless little baby.. and our Allah provided blankets and warmth all throughout our life yet never once have we said Alhamdulillah to Allah for our warmth 😔 Allah’s blessings are scattered in all the little things around us my brothers and sisters.. It was narrated that Abu 'Ubaidah said: Abu Bakr stood up, one year after the death of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood where I am standing last year and said: “Ask Allah for afiyah, for no one is given anything better than afiyah. And you should be truthful and righteous, for they lead to Paradise. Beware of lying and immorality, for they lead to Hell.` [Musnad Ahmad] ❤️ Salamah bin 'Ubaidullah bin Mihsan Al-Khatmi narrated from his father -and he was a Companion- who said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "Whoever among you wakes up in the morning secured in his dwelling, healthy in his body, having his food for the day,then it is as if the world has been gathered for him.'" [Tirmidhi] ❤️ Abul-Fadl Al-`Abbas bin `Abdul-Muttalib (ra) reported: I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to teach me a supplication. He (ﷺ) said, "Beg Allah for safety (from all evils in this world and in the Hereafter)." I waited for some days and then I went to him again and asked him: "O Messenger of Allah Teach me to supplicate something from Allah." He said to me, "O Al-`Abbas, the uncle of Messenger of Allah! Beseech Allah to give you safety (Al-`afiyah ) in this life and in the Hereafter." [Tirmidhi] ❤️ It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) never abandoned these supplications, every morning and evening: Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afwa wal-'afiyah fid-dunya wal-akhirah. Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afwa wal-'afiyah fi dini wa dunyaya wa ahli wa mali. Allahum-mastur 'awrati, wa amin raw'ati wahfazni min bayni yadayya, wa min khalfi, wa 'an yamini wa 'an shimali, wa min fawqi, wa 'audhu bika an ughtala min tahti (O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religious and my worldly affairs. O Allah, conceal my faults, calm my fears, and protect me from before me and behind me, from my right and my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in You from being taken unaware from beneath me)." “She’s not my daughter in law.. she’s my very own daughter” ❤️ How many houses and marriages would be in peace and bliss today if in laws had this mentality and treated their daughter in laws as their very own flesh and blood 😳 A daughter in law is a blessing of Allah which Allah sends to so many houses.. Many guys will never be able to understand the sacrifice and hardships that a woman has to go through to leave her whole life behind after marriage 🙁 All those moments she spent with her parents, her siblings, all those memories of her house and street, all those Eids and Ramadan’s she spent with her family, all those holidays and trips they made.. A woman’s heart is attached to her family and her upbringing and then her life suddenly changes forever when she gets married 🥺 A woman’s heart is aching with worry before marriage at how she will be treated by her in laws - and so often in today’s world the in laws are a cause of oppression 😔 How many in laws treat their daughter in laws like slaves and maids.. They burden that poor girl with everything 😔 Would you treat your own daughter that way to cook and clean and do everything? Why is she not your daughter? 🥺 Many in laws create disunity between husband and wife by planting seeds of doubt, by gossiping, by remarks etc.. Imagine if your very own daughter was treated by her in laws like that? You would hate it ☹️ She’s not an outsider.. she’s one of our very own! She’s the woman who your son chose as his life partner. Why do we meddle in their life for no reason? 🤐 To all the husbands reading this today, you have a very important role in keeping the unity in your family.. if your wife is really unhappy and you know she is being treated unjustly then make every effort to find your own place! She left her whole life behind for you and she deserves happiness 💕 A home can be like Jannah if it is built on mutual respect and love and understanding for each other.. To every mother in law reading this, you were also once in the same shoes as your daughter in law.. she’s your daughter!! Sahl ibn Sa’d reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Myself and the caretaker of an orphan will be in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together. [Bukhari] ❤️ It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: "The best house among the Muslims is a house in which there is an orphan who is treated well. And the worst house among the Muslims is a house in which there is an orphan who is treated badly." [Ibn Majah] ❤️ ‘Give the orphans their property, and do not substitute what is bad for what is good, and do not eat up their property along with your own. It is surely a great sin.’ [Surah An-Nisa 4:2] ❤️ Abu Huraira reported: A man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he complained about the hardness of his heart. The Prophet said, “If you want to soften your heart, feed the poor and pat the head of the orphan.” [Musnad Ahmad] ❤️ ‘Did He not find you an orphan, and give you shelter? And He found you unaware of the way (the Shari’ah), then He guided you. And He found you in need, then made you need-free. Peace - a blessing of Allah which so many of us have enjoyed continuously throughout our life yet many of us have always taken it for granted and never appreciated or ever thanked Allah for it 🥺 My brothers and sisters, how fortunate are we that we will be enjoying Eid in peace with our close ones and being happy without any fear of us or our children being bombed and killed 🥺 We woke up in peace in our secure home whilst many in Palestine stayed up all night in fear of their houses being bombed 🥺 We went to pray eid namaaz in peace yet our brothers and sisters were worried whether they would return back home in a coffin if they went for Eid namaaz 🥺 we will be sitting and laughing and greeting one another in peace but our brothers and sisters cannot even leave their own home to meet relatives 🥺 We will be eating comfortably with family on our dinner table with a variety of dishes and desserts but our brothers and sisters will eat in fear with the sound of rockets and missiles 🥺 We will exchange gifts with one another but the gift that our brothers and sisters crave more than anything is the welfare of their family, the protection of Masjid Al Aqsa and peace 🥺 we will go to bed tonight in peace whilst others are filled with fear and worry whether they will wake up 🥺Imagine if we had to spend the day of Eid in a war zone with the sound of missiles over our head 🥺 Imagine the look of fear on our children’s faces 😢 Allah has given so many of us a life where we have always had peace and safety yet we have never even praised or thanked Allah once 😞 Today when we are all indulging in happiness, just take a moment to remember all our brothers and sisters around the world who do not have the peace we take for granted 🌍 Make a little dua for them that Allah brings back peace and happiness for them.. ‘Tarbiyah’ in Arabic means to develop, to grow, to increase, to nurture.. Our children have a right upon us that we as their parents/guardians give them the best possible upbringing 💕 Many families today neglect the importance of tarbiyah for their children.. they have this attitude that my child will learn everything they need to know from their Madrasah 😏 But many of us forget that the child’s first and continuous madrasah up until their youth is their own home 😳 That child goes to madrasah for an hour or two but the child spends most of their time in their own home learning from their surroundings 🤔 My dear mothers and fathers and elder siblings etc.. we ALL have a responsibility to give the children in our homes an upbringing in which they learn to love their Creator ❤️ We need to instill the love of the Quran in their hearts 📖 we need to make Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) their role model by learning his sunnah and hadiths and seerah 💝 we need to use the incredible imaginations of our children to tell them the fascinating stories of the prophets 🐳 and we need to build the character/personality of our child into someone who is honest, respectful, kind and mindful of the rights of others.. But we give no time to our children today 😔 when was the last time we taught our children something beneficial? We have time for endless pointless things but we have no concern that my child may grow up to disobey Allah and end up in Jahannam 🥺 The state of the world is such today that there is fitnah everywhere.. Our children need a good tarbiyah or else they will be sucked in by this world 🥺 Make learning fun and interesting for them.. there is so much good material online which you can utilise! Dedicate time for a family circle where everybody gets together and learns 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 set up a WhatsApp group for Islamic reminders for the family.. correct your child in a friendly manner when they do something wrong.. be a good role model yourself because a child absorbs and copies what you do 😳 A parent will be held accountable by Allah if they did not give their children a good upbringing..
