Last month, I facilitated an outing organized by the First Lady of Bakasi LGA covering three schools in Cross River State in honour of World Menstrual Hygiene Day.
And I'd say..indeed..
Period poverty is real!
Menstrual taboos are real!

How come nobody talks about the compulsory tarry nights to new mums?😨🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ 😂 Now if I see a woman sleeping while inside keke, mini bus or taxi like Dumebi in Nigerian movie I'll just shut up my mouth 😂 😂 .
Meanwhile we had our first photo session and we decided to have our heads 🧕 wrapped, May you be wrapped in God's loving arms all through this year and beyond🙌🙌🙏

One of the Myths about Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is that it helps to reduce promiscuity among women.
The best way to encourage chastity among women is not by mutilating her but by educating and mentoring her.
Together we can have a world free of FGM!!
Meanwhile our advocacy walk yesterday was a huge success and we'll keep saying #NotoFGM and we look forward to a world free of FGM. by @blessingsam3
