This week, we explore the ridiculousness of a few Washington Wives getting all upset and compiling a list of "unsavoury" songs that were dubbed "The Filfthy Fifteen."

These 15 songs were the ones that were deemed the most harmful and offensive because they included explicit lyrics about sex, the occult, drugs, and violence.

Get ready for some pearl clutching, moral panic, and a senate hearing where the Washington Wives were outclassed by three musicians standing up for their rights to make music without being censored.

Todays episode is going to be a heavy one, so buckle up.

In January of 2002, Spotlight, an invesitgative team from The Boston Globe, dropped an article with the headline 'Church Allowed Abuse by Priest for Years'. This article not only discusses some of the crimes of John Geoghan but also the cover-ups committed by the Archbishop of the Boston Archdiocese, Cardinal Law.

This episode explores a little into the investigation, the cover-ups, some of the crimes committed by Geoghan, and the domino effect from this first Spotlight article being released.

If you are looking for more information regarding this topic. I do recommend you reading 'Betrayal: The Crisis in the Catholic Church" - written by the Spotlight Investigative team, as well as 'Sex, Priests and Power: Anatomy of a Crisis' by Richard Sipe.

There is also a website which has a lot of resources regarding testimonies from survivors, as well as a database of priests who have sexual abuse claims against them.

Today's bite-sized episode is going to take us to Iraq, to uncover the privileged and volatile life of Uday Hussein.

Uday was a reckless playboy and a symbol of unchallenged power in what would be a collapsing regime. Uday lived a life of excess whether it came to alcohol, drugs, and women. However, most remember him as the careless and violent perpetrator of beatings, torture, and murder, who only got away with his crimes because he was Saddam Hussein's son.

This episode gets a tiny bit heavy in parts, so listen with caution.
