𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳… 🤍👑

I’m 𝗭𝗼𝗶𝗲.

A God-fearing woman. A mother. A partner. A woman with dreams, standards, boundaries, and a heart that still believes deeply in love, family, purpose, and becoming everything God created me to be.

My faith is the foundation. 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀—I follow. Even when I don’t understand the path, I trust the One who ordered my steps. 🙏🏽

I’m feminine, but I’m not fragile.
I’m kind, but I’m not easily manipulated.
I’m loving, but I have boundaries.
I’m soft, but I have a voice—and I use it.
I can extend grace without abandoning discernment.

I love beauty, fashion, motherhood, education, meaningful conversations, a good laugh, and creating a beautiful life with the people I love. 💕 But beneath all of that is a woman who has lived, learned, evolved, and become increasingly comfortable standing firmly in who she is.

I don’t believe womanhood requires making myself smaller, quieter, or more digestible.

I’m still growing. Still learning. Still becoming.

𝗦𝗼, 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿. 🤍

This is 𝗭𝗼𝗶𝗲—faith, family, femininity, ambition, opinions, laughter, growth…and everything in between.

Standing here at Georgia State University, I can’t help but reflect on everything life has taken me through since my last graduation in 2016.

Let us acknowledge the surviving warriors, the fallen warriors, the lost warriors, and those still fighting battles in silence. 🕊️

Domestic violence has no face, socioeconomic status, educational background, or particular appearance. 𝐈𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧.

Yet so many survivors are met with disbelief, judgment, and silence when they find the courage to speak. Sometimes, even by those closest to them.

𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐒. We must address the jealousy, insecurity, emotional struggles, and desire for control that can contribute to abusive behavior.

To every woman discovering her worth, 𝐏𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍. 💜

Pay attention to anyone who tries to dim your light, isolate you, diminish your beauty, or separate you from the things and people you once loved.

Sometimes an abuser recognizes your potential before you recognize it in yourself. Rather than celebrate you, they seek to dismantle you.
