“In Another Life”
FULL FILM IN BIO

In February 2025 my father, my childhood friend Eli and I drove from Los Angeles to Northern California and over the course of three days we shot In Another Life. We shot this film on a manual bolex in hand built cabins, red wood forests and numerous sea caves. This was truly a film made out of love, trust, and exploration, and is my favorite thing I have made so far. Before the shoot I sat alone in my bathroom in the dark for 3 hours hand-spooling each roll of film we shot with. I have literally touched every frame of this film and will be forever grateful for the experience I had.

Thank you to @annannie for the years of friendship and artistic collaborations, onward to the next one.

Thank you to @lomelda for gifting their haunting sounds to the film, their work was not only a huge basis of inspiration for this piece but a salve in my life.

Thank you to @emiel.miller for gifting his beautiful drawings and luggin my ass around in his car for years.

Thank you to @al_warren_ and all the actors at SHAPE, this class was founded on trust and exploration and showed me the power of that process.

Thank you to @tape_losangeles for being so accommodating and letting me rent a bolex on short notice.

Thank you to @cinemafemme_community and @futureoffilmisfemale for being early supporters of this film.

And a true deep deep thank you to @natalie.jenks , this film would not exist without her time, artistic input, love and attention. I am the person I am today because of her.

Charlie was the best dog I could’ve ever asked for, I was incredibly lucky to have him in my life as long as I did. I’ve never met a dog whose was so joyful yet understood sadness on a deep level as well. I love you Charlie💙 I wrote a song for him today and released it with an old song for him as well, link in bio by @bleudude

“Friends With Yourself” is a collection of songs I have written in the past three years, and for my 21st birthday I thought it would be a great time to just finally capture and release them, if nothing more than to be a time capsule of where I was at musically at this age. The title comes from a photo my dear friend @eligoldberrg took of me in high school, I always thought it was very funny but I realized it also showcases the process I went through with this. Learning to have fun and enjoy making something on your own, allowing it purely to be an expression of self creativity. This album is very rough, bare bones, and nothing spectacular but I really enjoy these songs a lot and they have a lot of meaning to me. If you’re interested in listening there is a link in my bio to my bandcamp, and it will be on all streaming platforms soon as well. Thank you to everyone who’s encouraged me to keep doing what I love. Artwork by @emmarain27 by @bleudude

My first official solo project “Retrograde” has released today! This is a collection of songs that have recently meant a lot to me and I am beyond excited to get to share them with you all. Link in bio, if you download through my Bandcamp you will also receive a copy of a 30 minute visual piece to curate the EP as well as a collection of self portraits drawn during the process and other assorted piece made by artists who helped out, otherwise it will be on all streaming platforms in about a week. Huge thank you to @connor_criswell for helping me record and mix all these songs, and for hearing something in my music. Thank you to all my friends who helped and encouraged me throughout the years I cannot express enough how much it means.

For the past 3 weeks I’ve been working on a collection of songs, writing and recording them through a very transitional point in my life. Here is a piece of one of the songs, they represent a time in my life of thought, introspection, understanding myself better. For the past couple years I’ve felt very hesitant to release something but I’m getting to the point where I just feel tired of waiting. This will be one of my first official solo releases and it is both a very fun but nerve racking experience. I’m very excited to share this with you all soon stay tuned! by @bleudude
