"I Wanna Be A Hot Wife" | Jacob & Bailey Wedding Preview

Jacob actually met Bailey’s family (and her son, Brooks) at a Bills game before he ever even met Bailey. Her aunt invited him over, the family immediately loved him, and after months of just being friends and building snowmen together, the rest was history.

Their day at The Lodge at Shadow Hill was the definition of comfy, deeply sentimental, and a ton of fun. From Aunt Heidi surprising everyone as their officiant, to Brooks walking Bailey down the aisle, to that Father/son dance between Jacob and Brooks, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Throw in lottery tickets down the aisle, an emotional BBQ dinner honoring Bailey’s dad, white LED sparklers, and a late-night hot dog cart to wrap things up, and it couldn’t have felt more like them.

Huge congratulations to Bailey, Jacob, and Brooks!

We are the love we give - the love we pour out into the world - through our thoughts, words and actions. The way we speak to ourselves. Let me tell you love is an energy that can be felt - we witness this over and over again in the work we do. The love these two share and are surrounded by is magnetic. What a complete joyful blissful feeling to document a second wedding for this family and meet a new family whose hearts are equally big and bright ❤️🌞

A year ago, Michael and Alexandria planned a wedding that was a beautiful tribute to family, inspired by the couple’s roots and brought together with intentional, heartfelt details.
In a beautiful nod to the women who came before her, the bride walked down the aisle wearing her grandmother’s wedding gown; the very same dress her own mother had also worn to her wedding. Alex hand-designed and illustrated the entire invitation suite and all the day’s paper goods, including every place card and menu. The most sentimental detail was a hand-built gelato stand that the groom had constructed himself as a surprise for his bride, to share as a sweet, nostalgic reminder of the couple’s engagement in Italy, the place where their journey toward marriage began.

One of our favorite parts of a wedding day is watching the people who show up to celebrate. The hugs, the happy tears, the laughter during speeches, and the way friends and family surround a couple with so much love and support.

These two were so genuine and kind, and it was easy to see how loved they are by everyone around them. Getting to capture not just their love story, but the relationships that have helped shape it, is something we’ll never take for granted.

What a beautiful day to be a part of. 🤍

A little Finger Lakes wind, a lot of beautiful light, and nonstop laughs with Alexis and Tony. These two are the best kind of easygoing energy. Cheers to a lifetime of rolling with the punches together! 🥂

Centerpieces don’t have to be complicated to feel good 🤍 Sometimes it’s just the right base, the right height, and the right amount of texture.

A lot of couples wait on rentals until later in planning — but this is usually the part that shapes how everything comes together.🤍

Layout, flow, how the space feels - it all starts here.

If you’re planning 2026 or 2027, this is a really good time to start pulling ideas together 🤍

Every year I remember that time I planned a full wedding in just 55 days after engagement. My husband and I surprised our friends and family who thought they were going to an engagement party but little did they know we got married earlier that day with just our parents, sibling, and the couples who are the reason we met.

After photos we took everyone to the bar where it all started.

@nspstudio captured the day and did same day edits to create a slideshow to drop the bombshell to our guest waiting at the venue.

@specialoccasionhairmakeup created the most beautiful hair and makeup.

@darrenyoungwedding created this video.
@flowercityceremonies for customizing a beautiful ceremony.
@kittelbergerflorist for the floral.
@mccarthyevents for all the rentals.
@partymancatering_ny for the amazing food stations and high end service.
