POSTS STORIES REELS

The FCT Area Council Cup 1.0 highlight reel is basically a trainwreck that you can’t look away from, where players are the drama queens, fans are the die-hard groupies, referees are the grumpy old uncles, and the game itself is like a bad soap opera that you secretly love.

In continuation of the familiarization and needs assessment tour highlights by the Mandate Secretary ACSS, Hon. Bitrus Lawrence Garki, to the 17 Chiefdoms of FCT, the day 2 visits were equally rewarding as He visited, Aguma of Gomani, Sarkin Pai of Pai, Aguma of Gwagwalada, Gomo of Kuje, and Agora of Zuba.

One thing I have come to admire about the FCT Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike, CON, is his mastery of infrastructural development and political strategy.

He understands what the people need, knows how to make things happen and has a way of delivering results that leave people impressed.

His approval for Dunamis International Gospel Centre to construct the pedestrian bridge is another example of this leadership approach.

Amongst other dignitaries, I was delighted to join my Boss (the FCT Minister) at the commissioning of the bridge, and I sincerely commend Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche and his wife, Dr. Becky Enenche, for their commitment to community development and public safety through the Dunamis International Gospel Centre.

For me, this is what makes Minister Wike an interesting political master; knowing what the people want, understanding how to get it done and allowing the results to speak for themselves.

With an estimated 70% of the FCT population being young people, I strongly believe that the youth hold the key to shaping our political future.

In my exclusive interview with Rapid TV News in Abuja, I shared the ideology behind the City Boy Movement and our commitment to engaging, empowering and mobilising young people to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in 2027.

For me, youth participation must go beyond political rallies. It must be about inclusion, opportunities, leadership and giving young people a sense of belonging in the political process.
