Körniges Schwarz-Weiß, Zuckerstaub in der Luft, Licht auf Stahl und Händen. @peter_rees_fotografie fotografierte Ende der 80er bis Mitte der 90er die Manna-Bonbonproduktion als stille Industriepoesie – rau, echt, fast greifbar. Ein nostalgischer Blick auf Handwerk im Übergang zur digitalen Zeit.

Grainy black and white images, sugar dust in the air, light on steel and hands. @peter_rees_fotografie captures the production of Manna sweets in the 1980/90s as a form of silent industrial poetry: raw, real and almost tangible. It is a nostalgic look at craftsmanship during the transition to the digital age.

🍸 Foodstylist und Fotograf Max Faber (@foodfaber) hat seine ganz eigene Art der Foodfotografie entwickelt: Statt Kamera kommt bei ihm ein hochauflösender Flachbettscanner zum Einsatz. 🍄 Mushroom Clouds

In der Fotoserie von Henry Hargreaves & Caitlin Levin aka @hargreavesandlevin werden Atompilzwolken aus Pilzen nachgebildet. Sie dienen als Materialien für detailreiche Skulpturen, die anschließend fotografiert werden. 📸

Die Serie stellt die Spannung zwischen zwei Gegensätzen dar: Nahrung als lebensnotwendige Ressource und die Atombombe als Symbol der Zerstörung. So entsteht ein kritischer Blick auf Konsum, Macht und Vergänglichkeit.

🍄 Mushroom clouds

In this photo series by Henry Hargreaves and Caitlin Levin, aka @hargreavesandlevin, mushroom clouds (as in nuclear explosion) are recreated using real mushrooms. These serve as materials for detailed sculptures, which are then photographed. 📸

The series represents the tension between two opposites: Food as a vital resource, and the atomic bomb as a symbol of destruction. The result is a critical examination of consumption, power, and transience.
