@amyrstolz #writer-director We can not unsee what we’ve seen. It will fight us until we stop fighting. How does it feel to be in someone else’s skin?

I think we were all hoping for a different outcome for this no brainer case. Once again we are all left shocked but maybe not. It’s a disgrace. That man should be in jail for the rest of his life. It was premeditated murder. Period. He went there with the intent to kill someone and that’s exactly what he did. End of story. If you can jot see the problem that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. This was a sad day for our judicial system and proof it’s broken. by @blindedbysightmovie

When something fights to be heard or seen we can’t deny it. We face it. #blindedbysightmovie follow us and help us spread the message to keep this conversation going. @blindedbysightmovie peace between us all. by @blindedbysightmovie

It was wonderful to bring this small group together to make a powerful film @blindedbysightmovie Because we were such a small crew of 4 and working in nature, night time etc, we didn’t want to have
a lot of cables and equipment laying around on the ground. @litepanels who is always generous in helping with battery powered lights for our sets was the perfect solution for this situation! These Gemini 2x1 soft and Gemini 1x1 soft and 2 Astras lit our location perfectly. Since we were filming a Noir we wanted to get enough light to give us those beautiful shadows but also have enough linger to see the textures of the tree and a black horse. Thank you so much for taking care of us @jamesmckellar To many more shoots with @litepanels by @blindedbysightmovie

How do we see and interact with the world around us? Are we kind and looking to understand or do we deflect and look to fight and separate each other? by @blindedbysightmovie

The horse is a symbol of the man’s inner strength and nature’s own struggle to understand the reasons why they have to fight for their own survival in a world we are all just in the need of love. by @blindedbysightmovie

My name is @amyrstolz I’m the writer director of Blinded By Sight. A film about a man who fights an invisible evil that he doesn’t want to face. What is this evil? Humanity or his own anger at something he can’t control or understand. How do you fight something you can’t see? I wrote this story because I wanted to understand in some small way the pain or struggle happening in our country, the U.S.A. within the African American community and people of color who are friends and extended family. A struggle I can never understand completely. Let’s keep the conversations open lest we forget. by @blindedbysightmovie
